  • If your thyroid is regulated it does affect your metabolism and yes it will help. It finally took a Doctor and nutritionist to see that was the problem I was having. That and my body doesn't want to process carbs late in the afternoon and evening. I am feeling a difference just in my energy levels. I was to a point that if…
  • Some people have no choice, do you think they prefer to take meds. Not everybody does. My doctor finally had to put me on something because NOTHING was working. I dropped a lot of weight and kept it off until I had some surgeries and now I have other issues. I HAVE to workout twice a day if I want to lose 1 lb a week, if I…
  • Mine has both labels and time... Breakfast (7:15-7:30) Snack (9:30-10) Lunch (12:00-12:30) Post workout snack (2:30) Snack (4:30) Dinner (7:00-7:30) I'm hypoglycemic and need to eat every few hours to keep my BS normal and also keep my metabolism going since I also have a low functioning thyroid.
  • I do buy a big bottle of water because it's bigger than the bottle I would bring. As for snacks, I bring my own. Luckily I carry a really huge purse. LOL Whatever yummy snacks I get from naturebox at the time is usually what I bring...i.e. roasted chickpeas, blueberry almonds, macadamia pretzel balls. etc. I try to have…
  • I bought it a while ago, did one week and she drove me crazy. I don't know who's more annoying her or Wicked WIlly! OMG LOL So I never made it to week two. But now, I'm working with a dietician and need an intense workout so I'm definitely going to give her another go. I will just make sure that I turn the music portion up…
  • Will definitely have to try these! YUM
  • I would weigh it dry, cook it, then weigh it again so I can know what they ounces are for the cooked pasta. I only do that so I know when I make it again and I just weigh it on my plate I know I can use the calories for the 2oz of dry.
  • Turning 42 in March and would love to be at my goal weight! I have about 20-25 lbs to go. Have huge milestones next year...10 yr anniversary and my 25th highschool renunion. Want to be fit and trim for those. Feel free to add me as a friend. The more support the better!
  • WOW! Thought I was reading my own life right there. We have the same goal weight, I do tend to hover around 155 but then went up to 170! I'm now at 165 and slowly creeping up and down. I also was down to 147 soooo close but surgeries messed that up for me. I also have a fitbit flex that I love and started running again…
  • I am also doing T25, starting my second week today. Looking forward to making serious changes with my body!
  • OH sounds perfect! I'm definitely in!! That would bring me to my goal which I haven't been near in 5 years!
  • One easy way especially if it's just out of habit is...after dinner, go brush your teeth. It truly works!!! I always wanted something sweet to eat after a meal, even though I wasn't hungry...until I started brusing my teeth after I eat.
  • I lost about 7 inches doing The ripped in 30. I liked the workout however I hated doing the same DVD over and over again. I definitely didn't pick it back up after I finished it. It works if you don't mind the same routine.
  • That is an awesome site. Dealing with body fat. And it is exactly where my chiropractor said I should be. LOL A lot better than my primary doctor telling me here's the chart, you need to be here.
  • Wow, I hate those damn charts. My primary doctor tells me I should be between 120-130 because I'm 5'3". But my chiropractor says no way in hell should I weigh that amount. He says I have a large bone structure and have a lot of muscle mass, more than average. He told me that whatever the chart says I should automatically…
  • I was thinking the same thing! I don't trust any opinion on a product that is from a first time poster and no photo.
  • Some of them are delicious, and aren't bad for you. I eat them every day for lunch along with a side salad or extra veggies. A frozen meal usually isn't enough for me to be satisfied. I do try to keep an eye on the sodium, however as long as you drink a lot, and I mean a lot of water you shouldn't bloat, it will flush out…
  • You're probably better off. EVERYTHING is acceptable in moderation, it's called life. I just don't know what moderation is...that's why I'm here! LMAO
  • Please count me in!!! I just got back on track this past Friday. Definitely want to be down 10 lbs by end of July.
  • Definitely add me! I'm in the same boat. Have about 21 more pounds to lose. I'm trying to be more active on here everyday. Always looking for more friends for support and motivation!
  • I have my combat fitness class tonight which always kicks my butt!
  • I know exactly how you feel! Although my DH tells me all the time he thinks I'm perfect and beautiful and he loves me for me, I just don't feel that way about myself and in return it actually kills my sex drive. My girlfriend was the same way, now that she dropped 35 lbs she says her desire is back because she feels…
  • I Just renewed my JC membership. I plan on putting the meals on MFP because I eventually want to go to 5 days a week. I want to do a full month 7 days a week just to get back into the program and get my mindset back. My originally consultant who I loved moved away and I don't care for any of the others so I'm trying the at…
  • Feel free to add me, I can use all the friends and support on this site. We can all do this journey together! Kris
  • Great! Thanks for the suggestions. I actually had a Polar so I was happy it lasted so long.
  • Wow, I was just trying to get a group together, it's not all about the money but obviously for you it is. You don't have to be rude about it.

  • I just started taking the combo raspberry ketones with the green coffee bean extract. I eat healthy and work out twice a day because my day job is pretty sedentary. I started taking it because even with all I was doing, I was not losing anything, and was tired and dragging in the afternoon. I did notice just this week that…
  • I can't say anything different than everyone else. Try substituting...diet soda instead of regular. or make a deal with yourself. Don't allow yourself to have your coffee drink unless you exercise for 30 minutes. Make it more of a treat instead of a daily thing. I LOVE peanut butter so try PB2 (a powdered peanut butter),…
