  • My trainers have told me to throw my scale away. This happens to me too and I don't cheat. It's very frustrating. Weigh yourself once a week at most at the same time - usually first thing in the am. Hang in there. You have to admit you are feeling better so you have that working for you. Being healthy is the important…
  • I'm weighing weekly. 1st thing in the AM. I'm curious to see what others are doing so good post.
  • Once you get in the habit of counting calories and exercising it comes much easier. You are worth it! Just make yourself a priority.
  • Awesome! Welcome. I've only been here for a month or so but it's working beautifully. Good luck with your goals!

  • Good job. That is frustrating but at least you know your hard work is paying off! The scale is evil anyway.
  • It says to use all of them. The system already shaves some calories off for the type of activity you do. At least, that's what the site said when I signed up. It works! Good luck with your goals.
  • Awesome. We can definitely see a difference. Keep up the good work!
  • Good luck to you. You will be great. If anything, keeping a healthy lifestyle is important.
  • I"m with you. I was one of those people too. I still catch myself doing it but really, you make your own choices. Once you start focusing on what's important, it's like a game to go around those excuses. I really like your post because you are telling it like it is. Keep up the good work!
  • What Jackiemomx2 said is correct I use smaller bowls and plates and it looks like I have more food. Also, get your plate of food then that's it and keep busy after you eat. Take a walk or play with the kids or dogs. It helps me keep my mind off leftovers. :)
  • I did WW for a while and lost about 25 pounds. It's easy to do but it's the same as you are doing now, counting calories, keeping track of food, exercise, etc. It was a good program. I like MFP because it's free and basically does the same thing. Good luck to you!
  • Too cute! Keep it up
  • Awesome! Keep up the great work! I bet you have a lot more energy with workouts like those too! Good job
  • I try not to use my exercise calories and I remember there was controversy here on the boards before about needing more calories after you burn them. So, yes, no more than the 2100 max. It's nice to be able to keep track of it all.
  • I had a knee injury also. It's so frustrating. But there are other exercises you can do. They told me no weights. Leg lifts are good. Try 50 each leg, 50 up laying on your back, 50 on your side, then inner thigh. My trainer said the trick is to exercise the muscles around your knee for support. It was a good start for me.…
  • Welcome fellow Illinoisan. I'm in East Peoria. I'm fairly new here too but think this is a great tool to keep us on track. Good luck everyone!
  • Hi Melissa, Every since I got my desk job, it's been tough keeping this weight off. I'm at a computer all day too and movement is slow. I recently made a stand up desk to see if it would help me move around a bit more and it seems to. Also, I try to take a break and go for a walk in the middle of the day. I do my workouts…
  • I agree. Athletes are different than trainers. Not sure what BL was thinking.
