1100 is way too low. I'm pretty active,weigh 125 lbs and I'm 5ft 4. I eat between 1800 and 1900 calories per day.

I lift heavy as well,I can almost squat my bodyweight! (I weight 125 lbs). Since I started lifting,I have gone down 2 jeans sizes! Gasp! I've gotten smaller! Not bulky by any means! Ladies...lift heavy,you'll be amazed at the changes you'll see in your body! Not to mention,the rush you feel! Go heavy or go home!:wink:

I have a BodyMedia Fit that I wear all day. It tells me how many calories I burn all day,plus exercise calories. I find it pretty accurate. You can buy it on Amazon.com or the Body Media Fit website.

I'm doing it at home. I bought a barbell,plates,adjustable dumb bells and a squat rack second hand. The book gives you variations of exercises that involve gym equipment,e.g. pulley machine.

I agree with Sunshine. If you want to know what you burn on a daily basis,get a Bodybugg or Body media fit...which are meant to be worn all day.
