I agree,go see a doctor and go WCB. I think it would be really good if you took time off work to let your back heal. Also, ask to be referred to a Physiotherapist. Believe me,I've injured my back and going to physio really helped me. Keep you with the heat and rest, hope you feel better soon!

I used to go to the gym all the time. I'm 44 years old and just got sick of waiting in line for the cardio machines etc.... I have tons of dvds, weights, swiss ball, resistance bands and elliptical machine. I just prefer to workout at home,at my own pace.

I'll take my measurements and post them in a day or two. I meant to do it today, but totally forgot to do it!

I'm glad to see that there are more of you ladies working out at home with this program. I never thought of using my resistance tubing for the exercises that call for using the pulleys. I did my first workout today!

Hi! I have been reading the NROL4W for a bit now and I'm planning to start the program at home. I know,I am going to have to make some modifications since I don't have the equipment. So,Jan.1st it will be for my first workout. Some questions...did you girls go by calorie recommendations for your height, weight and age in…

My goal for the new year is to be fit!

I'm going to be switching to Maintenance on Monday, since I just reached my goal weight. I have a small deficit now,so hopefully on Christmas Day...all will be good!

Muscle does not weight more than fat. 1 pound of muscle= 1 pound of fat, muscle is just more dense.

I agree about the sodium. Try and stay away from all the processed foods and cook meals for yourself. That way you control how much sodium is going into your food. Try to read labels, and check the sodium content of the foods you buy. Eat MORE protein(chicken, turkey and fish),fruits like berries and vegetables too. Look in…

I like to exercise because of the rush I feel after a great workout!
-
I didn't realize that you did that,I just assumed you did that when you were within a few pounds of your goal weight.
-
I get what you're saying....You're doing what is right for you for the time being...
-
Maybe I will do what you're doing until I can cut a bit more fat and then worry about eating at a surplus once I'm happy with my body fat %. I am very close to my goal weight,I just need to cut some fat while I'm lifting. I eventually want to bulk.
-
I know you're right... I just need for someone to slap some sense into me.
-
Right now,I have my calories set @1500/day which .5lb weight loss per week. I know I would need to eat a 10% surplus on calories if I wanted to gain muscle right? Oh,and I eat back the majority of my exercise calories.
