  • Overnight oatmeal with tasty dried fruit added and Mason Jar salads have been a big help for me sticking to plant based during the week. I just prep everything on Sunday and I'm good to go. I'm one month in and cravings are gone which is crazy since I used to be a big snacker
  • I've just transitioned to Whole Food, Plant Based eating since the beginning of January 2017. I'd love a few new friends who have the same general diet.
  • I'm doing a vegan test run too after reading "How Not to Die". My big sources of protein right now are quinoa and beans. I'm trying to stick with whole food vs processed like fake meat but I'm not being obsessive about it. I joined a couple FB groups for vegans and some of the people are intense. I'm going to take it slow…
  • I think I was grabbing for the wrong kind of food when stressed or had a craving. I've switched my diet to be more "clean eating" and cut out fast food. My cravings for greasy carb loaded food have pretty much disappeared without much effort on my part.
  • You should watch Forks Over Knives a great film on a plant based diet. I still eat meat, eggs & seafood but I do a lot of meatless meals and have upped my fruit & veggie intake. I feel great. Plus the fiber alone is helpful to losing weight
