Yes, you really should be netting 1200 cals, but have you been measuring your self as well as getting on the scale? I only measure once a month and didn't realize I was losing inches for a few weeks, while the scale stayed pretty much the same. It also sounds like you over doing it with the workouts. The body really needs…

This sounds yummy. I'll have to try it later this week.
-
Don't forget to measure yourself! The scale isn't your only tool.

A general idea is to get 1 gram of protein per lb of of body weight. http://body-improvements.com/resources/eat/ Here's a great place to start. It opened my eyes to a lot of variables to consider and I'm on a much better path for me. It's not a short answer, but it's worth the time to read. Steve has helped quite a few…

Do you usually have a munchie/snack with lots of sugar or carbs at that time? It could easily be your body reacting to that missing snack. Try an apple or banana.
-
I didn't realize there was no chest strap. You really need a HRM with a strap for an accurate count.
-
Trust it. MFP has no idea where you're walking or how hard you're working, the HRM does. I hit a wall tring to lose those last 10 and didnt realize how much I was burning. I've only had mine a little over a month, but I'm losing again.

DH doesn't log anymore. The biggest issue he faced ,durning the whole process, was what an actual serving was. He's learned what an 6 oz piece of meat looks like. What a cup of pasta actually looks like. How far a serving of peanut butter spreads. When he got that down, life got way easier. Listen to your body too. How do…

One of my favorites with avocado Chicken breast cooked and chopped Half an avocado chopped 1 Roma tomato chopped 2-3 green onions chopped 2 TBS bacon bits or two slices of turkey bacon chopped real well Mix/toss until combined, season with salt, pepper or herbs if you prefer. Mash the other half of the avocado and mix with…

Thank you! I'll be making these is weekend : )

I believe moderate is 3-5 workouts a week. So you should be fine at the moderate level. Try it for a month and see. You'll also have the ability to knock it down a bit when you get really close to your goal, that last ten sucks!
-
Mix it with 6-8 oz of water and drink it up.

MFP is a generalized site. I have the same monitor and for Tae Bo - the monitor and MFP are pretty close, but when I'm walking the monitor is much higher. The difference in fat burn is actually very small, so don't worry about unless you get dizzy or faint. Just like losing weight, we're all different in some way.
-
It's still just a watch, and you can replace bands for smaller ones.
-
MFP has a built in deficit, the 1300 is what you have each day. The debate on eating exercise calories, some or all, is one I stay out of. You need to track for for a few weeks and see what works for you. Good luck!

It can very easily be water. Try drinking plenty of water to help flush out all the sodium from the holidays. I'll be doing the same thing today-my poor hands are so swollen, but the food was fantastic!
-
When I added protein powder as my snack every day, it became much easier to control hunger. I was also able to hit over MFPs protein target easily.
-
That's great! Keep it up!
-
There are carbs in almost everything. Even with that said, I've limited myself from rice and pasta but not eliminated them. You want something you can stick with for the long term, eliminating whole food groups without an allergy seems excessive to me.
-
Oh yeah!!!!! Making these this w/e!
-
See how well it mixes and stays mixed. You may or may not need one. They are good for on the go, but check how hard it is to open the drink spout/ hole. Some of them are a bear to open without spilling anything.
-
It sounds like you're pushing off on your toes. Try curling them back a bit and using your heels to push.
-
This is what I've started doing. I started about two weeks ago, I was just to tried to make it through my workouts in 1200 cals. I have roughly ten lbs left to lose, or the rest of the jiggle : ) Because I'm working more with weights than cardio, I'm starting to see a measurement difference. The scale isn't moving at all,…

Have you tried the low dose (18mg) iron tablets? They work much better for me over the usual 65mg ones. It was just to much at once.
-
Dark chocolate only, broken into individual squares and savored alone, so nobody can bother me. Scharfenberger (?) preferably.
-
I'm a die hard coffe drinker also. Straight black coffee is what? about 5 cals? I've never heard about it impeding weight loss. Caffeine is a stimulant and some use it as a diuretic. Anyway you look at it, it is mostly water, so I don't know where the calories are coming from (that you're friend is talking about). Now…

800 cals a day is way to low, especially if you're moving and lifting all day during work. You might want to try protein for breakfast- bars or shakes. It doesn't sound like carbs are a problem, so make sure they are in the shakes and bars too. Real early mornings are hard. I can't eat much that early either, food just…

Bars and shake help when you're in a time crunch or just to busy to stop and eat. That being said, how are the calories, the fat, sodium and the carbs? The sugar in some bars is insane. If you use them and still fall in line with your goals, great! Everyone is different in what makes them feel full and satisfied. I…

My husband has run since before I meet him and uses the cheap cotton gardening gloves. He's had other "running gloves" but he didn't like them. I hated that they never washed up right. He likes that the cotton ones block most of the cold/wind from his hands, that they wick the sweat away and not let it pool on his hands. I…

Doing the yo yo thing is hard on your body too. Don't forget how hard you worked to get there. What kind of cardio are you taking about? A few days a week shouldn't be a problem. Youl'll get the stress relief from it too. The bigger issue sounds like just getting back in there and doing it. Everyone hits that at some…
