I'm a bit confused, if MFP says may daily calorie intake should be 1300, am I supposed to eat 1300, 1300 plus the extra I gain from what I burnt off exercising, somewhere in between or less than 1300? My goal is to lose weight if that makes a difference.....

MFP has a built in deficit, the 1300 is what you have each day. The debate on eating exercise calories, some or all, is one I stay out of. You need to track for for a few weeks and see what works for you. Good luck!0

You generally eat your exercise calories if you want to maintain your lean muscle as you lose weight as much as possible, as with too large a defecit your body will eat your muscle. And if you lose weight without working out, you'll end up becoming skinny-fat - low weight with little muscle.0
