Sadly, it is the norm in Arkansas, where I live. It's kind of ironic, because about eight years ago, when I weighed almost three hundred pounds, it was abnormal. I could never find anything to wear! Now that I am no longer plus size, there seem to be much better fashion options for bigger girls.

I always aim to eat more protein than MFP's settings. I never worry about going over on protein, fiber, or even fat (the fat in my diet mostly comes from olive oil, coconut oil, or nuts). The MFP targets I am careful to try to stay under are definitely carbs, calories, and sugar.

I use rich chocolate Aria Women's protein and mix with Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk. 80 calories for two full scoops, and all natural.

I always did mine just from when I woke up to when I went to bed.. I tried to focus more on weekly totals vs. daily totals when I was working overnights.

I totally relate to the emotional eating thing.... I think most people can, at least on some level. When my weight was higher, I used to head for the nearest drive-thru when I was upset. Glad you asked this question- I am in a similar situation. I suppose I have lost, but it just seems sooooo slow... I do between 1200-1300 cals/ day, also, and walk at least 20 miles per week.
