  • Congratulations on all you've accomplished. Truly inspirational!
  • It's a start, keep going!
  • Hi All, I'm posting to request friends and support for someone very dear to me. She's struggling with many things, including this journey we're all on. She's a 50+ woman so I thought this would be a great place to recruit! Her screen name is Snowwhite9700. Thanks and good luck to you all!
  • Wouldn't even know that's you! Amazing! Congratulations!
  • Fantastic! Congratulations!
  • Fantastic!!! Way to fight through the hard times and come out on top!
  • It's great there are people trying to diagnose you, but take the advice of the ones who said....SEE YOUR DOCTOR. This is imperative. There is absolutely no way of knowing what could be causing that unless you get some tests done. I wish you all the very best. Please take care of yourself.
  • Thanks for sharing! Definitely appreciated the chuckle.
  • I am of the mind that it will be a miracle if I can actually accomplish this, but I'm going to give it a shot. Good luck all
  • I've lost my mind. Weight wise? 21 pounds, had hoped for more, but I'm content simply being on the right path and staying there. Here's to a successful new year!
  • I can't really give you an answer to your question, but I know that I won't go to bed hungry either, at least not truly physically hungry. My mind is another thing entirely. If I feel hungry to the point of distraction before bed I have a cup of cucumbers and a sugar free jello. I wouldn't have thought that would help, but…
  • Absolutely amazing transformation!
  • What's the fake cigarette?? I definitely need to quit smoking. My doctor actually told me to get my weight under control and then we'd work on the smoking, but whatever fake cigarette you used sounds interesting. I'm going to friend you (hope that's ok) and if you could let me know I'd really appreciate it! Thanks. And by…
  • Amazing difference. Nice work!!!
  • Oh the joys of menopause! Everyone knows about the hot flashes, but nobody talks much about the disturbance in sleep patterns, concentration issues, skin and hair changes, and let's not talk about the mood swings, crying jags and overall craziness. Getting older is not what I envisioned, but I definitely don't like the…
  • I don't have an answer for that, though I have definitely have a fluctuation in my appetite. Sometimes it is an emotional thing that has me looking to food for comfort, but other times I am genuinely hungry. At those times, I eat more, but try and eat healthy things. Sometimes your body knows what you need more than you…
  • Phenomenal! You look amazing. Congratulations and thanks for posting such inspirational pics!
  • Woohoo! Doing the happy dance with you! You should definitely buy at least 1 pair so you can strut your stuff. Fantastic!
  • Looking wonderful! Congrats!
  • I'd love to play. Weighed in just now for an accurate start, 226.8. Good luck everyone!
  • I would first recommend that you make the effort to get up 1/2 hour early and do at least a short workout before you ever start your day. It's often the only time I can manage to "find" the time. The biggest problem is actually making ourselves the priority rather than everything else. I try and make several meals one day…
  • I have also had that issue. I will be going strong and weigh in, lose several pounds and you'd think that would be motivation to keep going, but instead I find that is invariably the day I feel a need to eat everything in the house. My solution is not to weigh in every week. I try and weigh in every 2 weeks. I tell myself…
  • I see you have your quote as "Self love is not a feeling, it's a decision. One decision at a time." Start there. Love yourself. I think that many of us emotional eaters fall in that trap of not liking ourself, the situation, the feelings, and to avoid thinking about it, we eat. You are bigger than your emotions, your…
  • If he's landscaping and active all day that sounds like quite a bit of exercise. Is he taking a lunch to work or grabbing something on the go? Perhaps packing him healthy food to take along might help. Trying to find his favorites but in low cal varieties could help. He may not even notice the difference (I did this with…
  • I make what my kids call "cherry desert". Make a graham cracker crumb crust with graham crackers and promise light margarine, bake for 15 minutes and cool. Mix 8 oz no fat cream cheese and no fat cool whip together, spread over graham cracker crust. Spread a can of sugar free cherries on top. I have also used just regular…
  • Everything I've read and been told says that you lose most of the good nutrition when you go for the quick and easy with oats. They don't take that long to cook and it's well worth the few extra minutes. I never eat instant and can flavor it any way I please, usually with a cinnamon/raisin mixture. Happy eating :)
  • Totally love this idea! I'm going to start adding it in all my pasta dishes. Thanks!
  • Congratulations on your success. You're definitely an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing. Stories like yours help me keep believing I can do it to. Well done and good luck with the skydiving :)
  • Hey, I'm walking in that too!
