@ Firstsip....I absolutely feel a disconnect. I think we just replied to the same post where the OP said that being hypo is just and excuse. I am 243lbs and I "should" be losing 1-1.5lbs a week with the way I am eating and exercising. However, I am losing closer to .5lbs a week. It is frustrating. I see so many people lose…

Amen, Sister! My thoughts exactly!

^^ This Also hypo people may have other health issues. I also agree with you that it is tough to lose weight. I am have Hashimotos and my levels are crazy and haven't been regulated yet. I eat healthy and exercise. So far, I have lost 7lbs in a little over 2 months. I have over 100 lbs to lose. I am working with my doc and…

probably about 250 a month - just me and my daughter

I just want to add that it gets easier to find time as your children get older. My 4 yr old can easily entertain herself while I do a DVD. We also like to go on a lot of walks.

You rock too! To the OP, I had a natural drug free birth. IF you desire to look into that option, I studied hypnobabies and bradley method. Both are amazing programs.

You rock! I was going to have a home birth with my daughter, but ended up in the hospital (long story). In the hospital I ended up going through labor and giving birth naturally without drugs. :)

You need a new trainer asap. Excuses- you want to learn something different that (your new trainer) has to offer. The new trainer is cheaper. idk, maybe not the best, but it is a start.

No don't do that. I was in the Navy and if you or your husband are too lazy to work now, you will be too lazy to work in the military. It'll be another waste of tax dollars. The military is not a solution if you aren't willing to work because, believe me, people will always try and find ways to get out of work. I'm not…

When you are attempting pushups and the first body part to touch the floor (well before you are supposed to) is your stomach fat :(

I didn't want to work out. I mean I really really really did NOT want to work out. BUT...I did anyway. I did JM 30DS. I like that it is short for days like today.

^^^THIS. I agree. 3 is still young for the potty. And I know plenty of parents that still let their 4 yr old have a pacifer at night. (myself included). I will be the one paying for dental bills. So who cares what other people think.

If you said anything to me about my kid I would find a new babysitter. Honestly, as a parent you know that you have to find a sitter that works well with you. I was very lucky and found an amazing babysitter from day 1. We complement eachother in our "parenting" styles, so my daughter knows exactly what to expect.

sorry, lightly active is about 5000 steps a day. Moderately active is 7500 steps a day, and acitve is 10000. Hope this helps.
-
Sedentary is 2000 steps a day, so if you are set to sedentary anything above 2000 steps the fitbit will "give" you extra exercise calories to eat. So it sounds right to me.

My tummy likes to hang onto the fat. It is def my weakest area. :/
-
When my fat doesn't get in my way when I am working out. When I was 170 and lower my lack of muscles were my biggest problem when working out...LOL. Now that I am older and 70lbs heavier my fat gets in the way.....grrrrr. This must change.

I am 245 I just did L1D1, it wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong it def got me sweaty (and I know I will be sore tomorrow). I plan on doing it the whole month of sept taking 1 day off a week as well as other stuff I am going to try to fit in. (like extra walking, etc.)
-
I just finished L1D1. I was scared going into it, but honestly it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong it def worked my tail off and I had to stop a couple times. (but it isn't unusual for me to have to stop when I am doing a class at the gym either...i just figure I am waaayyyy out of shape... :/)
