Peanut butter on rice cakes I'd eat them all day every day if I could lol

I'm suffering with mine at the moment - ignored it and pulled my hamstring too!!! I found a number of stretches that are helping: 1. Lie on the floor, hug your knee to your chest and then with the opposite hand pull your foot towards you and up. Do both sides 3 times. 2. Lie on your back, bend one knee and place the ankle…

I've completed the 12 week program & loved it Had to do some modifications as I workout at home but really did see changes. I definitely recommend it

We eat at the dinner table, in the dining room, every night. No TV, just ourselves to interact with. As a family it's when we have some of our best conversations. We talk and catch up with each others days and discuss any and everything. It keeps our family close and it's something I think is really important. Does it…

My husband and I both come from very fractured and broken homes. When we met we didn't believe in marriage. Fast forward 21 years, 2 gorgeous daughters and 7 years of marriage later - I couldn't be happier. Only you will know when the right time is to get married. You will know that you want to spend the rest of your life…

You look fantastic. Going to show my sister this who is convinced that she can cardio her thighs smaller despite me constantly telling her to get in the weight room!!! Fab work :drinker:
-
The only way you can change this is to lead by example! Eat what you eat, continue to lose weight and when they see how fantastic you are doing maybe they will then want to follow in your footsteps. Like the old saying goes, you can lead the horse to water but you can't make it drink!

I have a roast every weekend, with all the trimmings. Sometimes I swap sweet potato for roast & sometimes I have both, just depends on my calorie allowance for the day. There's nothing unhealthy about roasts if, like people have said, you watch your portions.

I usually work out in the afternoon when I'm done with work but on the holidays I always get up and workout first thing in the morning. I've been off this week and have found for the same exercises I get a higher burn in the morning!!!! I'm not sure if this is because I'm doing it fasted or what but it made me feel good.…

I don't think it works very well on the elliptical (never use one when wearing it so am not 100% sure) but I like to include my exercise calories separately. You will never have the same number of calories to eat with a flex, it changes the number you need to eat depending on how active you have been for that day, i.e. if…
-
I've got a flex and have had it since Christmas. I still use a HRM for specific workouts but for my day to day stuff the flex is invaluable. I have a very active job during the week but weekends I barely move lol Even better it is free, unlike bodymedia, which is why I didn't get that as it all worked out too expensive for…

Yes eat what MFP sets you at. MFP will take your fitbit calorie burn, take off your deficit needed to lose weight and leave you with your daily calories.
-
I've completed Day 19, not looking forward to Day 20 after a treat day of wine & chocolate lol
-
I've had my Fitbit since Christmas and most days it syncs nearly every time I log into MFP, as long as I've been on my Fitbit app first. There have been some days where it hasn't sync'd until later in the day but I just keep an eye on my calorie burn on the app & make sure I'm under on here.

I never completed P90x because it was too long & Tony drove me nuts lol This new workout is much more suited to me, quick & simple - body parts aren't broken down like in P90x but believe me you can feel the work you're putting in!
-
If you enjoyed P90x what about P90x3? Tony' s New 30 minute workout I'm just finishing up my second week and loving it
-
You've saved the calories, drink them! I will never give up drink for weight loss - you still need to live life :drinker:
-
I bought mine in a batch off eBay - cheap as chips
-
Yep cold turkey here too! Smoked since I was 14. Quit New Years Eve 2 years ago - bought 40 cigs and smoked them all until I didn't want to see another cigarette ever again!!! It's worked and I've now replaced my addiction to nicotine to an addiction to being as fit and healthy as I can  I agree though, until you…

If it's just for one night, enjoy, have a drink or two (or three lol) and don't worry about it One day/ night isn't going to ruin all your hard work :drinker:

I agree - layers, layers, layers I usually wear either long or 3/4 pants long sleeve top, lightweight jacket and gloves, light ones cos my hands get too hot otherwise! I do cross country and am now considering getting some spikes so that I'm at not slipping all over the place in the mud lol It's good fun though
