What are your girls asking for for Christmas? My daughter gave me her list, I got everything on it and I hardly spent $100.00. I need some good ideas.

She already owns all the "big" ones like ferbie, leapster, etc. Help!

    My 6 year old isn't your average girly-girl... She wants superhero toys that shoot stuff, NERF guns... That kind of thing. She also wants her own tablet and cell phone. I can get down with NERF, not a phone! More games for her Wii... Books for sure now that she is reading everything. She does love TwinkleToes shoes, so that might happen. I know normal little girls want other things, though.

    Hopping balls. My kids love them.

    Also $100 is plenty to spend at this age.
  • My daughter wants an iPad. She is 6 years old. Oh, and I'm not buying her one.

    Zoomer the robot dog topped the list at our house this year.

    Followed by clothes, books, an iPod Touch, jewelry, and a few movies: Epic, Turbo, The Croods.

    Is she interested in reading - my 7 year old is loving the Rainbow Magic books - she's already read 7, and she has another 5 coming from santa.

    Ohh yes Rainbow Loom and the rubber bands.... I got a bead case to keep the rubber bands sorted (one with removable dividers).

    I'm getting my 7 year old daughter a gift certificate to a kids spa here in town to put in her stocking. She has been begging to get her nails done and try make up.
  • A pink scooter!

    ....and someone to beat up her brother

    I feel like it's our responsibility to their generation NOT to buy them this crap until their older. I refuse.

    Agreed. I let her play on my iPad once in a while. She does not need her own. At all.

    I'm going with the rainbow loom, some books, a movie, a new bookcase, a bike helmet, and probably some clothes. And yeah, my limit will be $100/kid.

    Buy her a baseball glove and break down the barriers.
  • Honestly this won't help, but my daughter wanted:

    * Legos
    * A toolbox set
    * Books
    * My Little Ponies
    * quote "a batman to ride on my ponies"
    and an indoor rebounder/small trampoline
  • Buy her a baseball glove and break down the barriers.
    Love this, my daughter would rock a glove! She loves all kinds of things that people stereotype as "boy things" :)

    I was thinking of either that or the FurReal monkey. I got her the FurReal Kitty for her birthday and they're inseparable. I'm always checking online for sales on both, I'll probably just pick whichever goes on sale first.

    Yes, she just got one for Easter.

    I was thinking one of those new "Y" scooters, but she wouldn't be able to ride it until the spring.

    My daughter is 7. Zoomie dog, and a goofy chair from Target. And yesterday, she decided she needs a pink gun (she is a little redneck, just like daddy). So I will prolly pick her up one of those little cricket 22's for kids to learn on. But I have to come up with some other stuff.
