Interesting thread. I'm male, 44, 5'7" and right now weight around 180lbs. Been doing this for 3 weeks and have lost 4lbs (started at 184lbs) so I'm quite happy with the steady weight loss. My net calorie goal is around 1,600 and I'm thinking that still might be a little on the low side but wanted to stick to that for 1…

Bump, anyone else having this issue? Is this a know issue for people who have less than 30 days of data? I'm on Windows 7 (64 bit) and Excel 2010.

Thanks, will check that out. Be interesting to see how well it works out here in the boonies :)

Thanks for the advice. Some of the microwave meals are good in protein, just have to be very careful about which ones to buy.

I don't see any averages here, just the daily values over a time period. It would be great if there was an average line added to these graphs though.

I wonder how many miles I would run in 1 hour of tennis, singles? Maybe 1 mile? Or maybe less!
-
True, like last weekends :( But still in 4th on the up.

Just downloaded this today and I am getting the same issue. I'm wondering if this is because I have only 7 days of data so far?

This is the one thing I am seeing jump out in my diary for my first week. I would love some ideas on how to reduce my sodium intake. My diary is open.

I certainly couldn't cover up the display. That's what keeps me motivated. I need to know my pace, etc. I also like to up my pace if I am feeling good :) But, I do have music playing via my phone. I have a UK radio station on and that does take my mind off how much time is remaining :)
-
Thanks for the feedback. Less concerned about the bike since I do have Endomondo on my phone to track distance/time.

I have also heard that the bottom number is more important. I normally hover at around 120(ish) for the top number but the bottom number is always around 70. My Dr has never mentioned any issues with my blood pressure, then again I don't tend to go unless I have a problem...but will go for a physical/check up in March,…

I have mine set to 45/35/20 for carbs/protein/fat. I eat 2-3 yoghurts per day, I eat turkey from the deli and most evening meals will consist of chicken or fish. If I find I really need more protein then I gulp a protein shake, which I normally drink anyway right after running for 30 mins. I also have protein bars…

Make it two handfuls and it's a deal :)

Sounds like with an HRM Endomondo is more accurate.
-
Thanks for the info, will look up DC Rainmaker.

Too funny :) I'm actually from Wigan originally but have always been a Liverpool supporter. Nice to see them playing well again after so long.

Maybe try cycling? Might not be as bad on your legs and will at least allow you to exercise.

LOL..sorry..no, you don't run in vans or any old trainers. Sorry, I've been away from the UK too long so can't recommend a certain shop, but there must be specialised fitness shops. Use the interweb to find something close in your area :) I use Asics and find them to be very comfortable when running, but that is just me.
-
I seem to be averaging 120+, been up as high as 150+ too.
-
*bump* :)

Best advice I can give you is to head to a more specialised running shop that will actually fit you correctly. Over here (in the US) they will record your running gait and from that help to fit you better. I would advise spending the extra cash and getting a decent pair of shoes, you want to be comfortable when running.
