Tailea:- I was told that the start day at montessori is basically by talking about how the earth came into existence. In public school, first graders start their first day of school talking about them, their family, their life etc. Huge difference in philosophy!

Please don't be disheartened. Its very easy to give up. I have worked 3 hard months and now, I am starting to show like my body is getting fit. Everyone is different. Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing. I promise, it will work!

I have almost completely stopped all soda. I'll drink a sip here and there but only on a weekend. Otherwise, water and milk all week. Also some Trader joes Organic mint tea after dinner. Helps the digestion!

Yeah- the school I went to go observe, kids were very well educated and had worked on maps for a while. They were also doing spanish and music. I find that weird that a 6th grader was clueless about africa. In the 3rd grade class, where I went, the kids were naming african countries like it was their own continent. Thanks…

I have managed to get out of the obese range. Almost! I am currently on the borderline of Obese and entering Over weight. Just thought I'd share. Woohoo!! 3 months has made the difference!!

You are okay. As long as you eat healthy all day, a chocolate craving at night is fine. Dark chocolate is better than milk chocolate. If u are keeping tabs on the calories, then even better. Stay within your daily calories and you should be fine.

This may sound weird but even after missing 4 days of exercise, I managed to lose a whole pound!!! I am back on track today and yesterday. I worked out a little bit and stayed within most of my calories. Thanks girls!

I do this daily. I eat a sweet every night after dinner and I look forward to that part of the evening. On the weekends, I allow myself to go a little crazy, eating what I want but most weekdays, I tend to snack on one portion controlled sweet that ends my day well. Thanks for sharing!

If you eat your exercise calories, you will eat less in the long run. It helps avoid the late night cravings and the binges. It has worked for me and I maintain a loss of one pound a week. I don't feel deprived at all.
