  • ehorner - I know your pain. I have a peek-a-poo that we had to get his teeth cleaned about 3 months ago. It does cost a lot of money to get them cleaned, but it is well worth it. I hope he feels better soon!
  • Wow! A whole 10 calories! You are doing fabulous! Congrats on the "almost" 20 lbs!
  • I know how you feel. I have lived my live by over eating and I lay it at my mothers feet because she ALWAYS made us clean our plates. She would say "Don't you know that their are starving children in Etheopia". I am seriously trying not to pass that onto my children. Good Luck!! :flowerforyou:
  •     Love it! Thanks for giving me a laugh tonight!
  • I prefer the elliptical. Have you looked at the Norditrac machine that they say is both treadmill and elliptical?
  • My personal trainer has me drink a protein shake about an hour prior to workout and then wait at least a 1/2 hour after workout to eat. It has always worked out well for me. Hope you can figure out what is causing it. Good luck!
  • That sounds so YUMMY!!! Thanks for the recipe.
  • I tried to take Topamax for a month because I have headaches on a daily basis. I will have a migraine at least 1 time a month. While taking the Topamax, I had periods of time that I have no clue what I was doing or where I was. Including driving to or from work. I would start to drive home and know what I was doing and…
  • Mine is my first initial, last name and the numbers of my home address. I know, not very original, but it works for me.
  • Welcome! :flowerforyou: Thank you for your service to this great country! You will look beautiful when you have your ceremony since you already do!
  • We found this link and it works really well because you can put in your actual weight and it will give you the calories burned for 222 different excercies and job activities. http://primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/jumpsite/calculat.htm
  • You did not lose it! It was stolen from you. BIG difference. Not that it changes what happened, but don't think of it that you lost it. You are not responsible for someone else's actions. Sorry that it happened though.
  • Tucson is just as bad. I have been down there visiting friends and you are right, when school is in, you see a lot of people just acting just plain stupid. I thought school was supposed to make you smarter, not dumber.
  • When I was growing up, we were taught to ride against traffic. That way we were able to see what the drivers were doing coming our direction. So we could get out of the way if we needed to.
  • I know exactly what you are talking about! You must live in Tempe. I live in Chander and although we don't have as many bikers as some of the other towns, I am always super cautious when I am driving. Nothing irritates me more than seeing someone turn and not even look to see if someone is even in the crosswalk! :explode:…
  • We only go out to eat if we have exercised enough to allow for it. Normally it is only once a week though because I work long hours during the week.
  • Congratulations! :flowerforyou:
  • I think that the gym is a good idea if you are motivated enough to go. I personally do not like working out in a gym. Probably because most of the gyms around here are meat markets. I have the following equipment at home. Treadmill, weight machine, ab lounger, swimming pool and we just got "The Bean". I prefer to work out…
  • I like the way you think  , but it would have to be a hot cook who give massages for me. I burn water in the kitchen. No joke! The only thing I make really well are pancakes and chicken enchiladas and neither one of those are low fat, low calorie. I'm surprised my kids are still alive since I can't cook worth a darn.
  • I was able to get my kids to go into a johnny jumper (google it if you don't know what it is) and they would stay in there for hours if I let them. You just hook it up in a door and they bounce, bounce, bounce. That was absolutely the BEST investment I every made (well okay that my mom made for me since it was a gift from…
  • I totally agree with you! Cheese should be a freebie. :explode:
  • okay, so not the most conservative on calories, but if you take a flour tortilla, spread the cream cheese lightly on it, add a slice or two of turkey breast and some jalepeno's. Roll it up and cut it into rolls. Not sure what the total calories would be, but it is so good!
  •
  • Your sister is in my thoughts and prayers today. Good luck! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
  • I was diagnosed with IBS a couple of years ago and the best thing that the doctor told me to get to help with the bloating, excessive gas, etc was Charcoal tablets. This is over the counter, but you might have to get your pharmacist to order it. I found out from my doctor that he prescribes this a lot to help with IBS…
  • That sounds delicious - well everything except the mushrooms. Thanks for the recipe!
  • I am totally addicted to this show! I am in AZ so I still have about 15 minutes left to watch. They are truly amazing individuals. Some of the things they do are just absolutely crazy! :noway:
  • Welcome! :flowerforyou:
  • I have personally taken phentermine in the past. The weight will ALWAYS come back unless there is a lifestyle change. I drank at least one 44 oz soda a day, plus ate whatever I wanted to (when I was hungry) and lost 30 lbs on phentermine. As soon as I stopped taking it, the weight came back plus some. So I would suggest…
