Thank you Rmenifield. I did that today, makes a difference in the burn. I'm very new to it and I have to be careful with my choices because of my joints and back. But yes it is for strength (ironically for my back and joint pains) and to lose weight...

WOW!! Huge difference Great job!!! And you were able to accomplish that in such a small but of time... what did you do? Cardio and the weight training? My diet is another story but I am trying to get better at it. I have cut down Fast food significantly like 80%. lol... So I am eating more at home. I am still trying to…

Awesome thank you so much jemhh. I actually just finished up my exercises and did 2 reps of 20 for each. So I have been able to up it a bit from last week. As far as using weights I have non. I have to do everything at home and free. LOL not a good time at all to do anything that will cost me money. Are those sites you…

Lol, yeah I felt so silly trying to do a push up. Uuuuugh but I figure if keep at it, I will eventually turn one to two and so forth. Also, I must mention I have to really push myself to even do more tha the walking. So any routine has to be basic because I have to start working it into my daily life slowly, it's just my…

Hi, I'm 5'3 and weigh 178 now! When i plugged in my stats it gave me 1200 cals and then I walk so I have been eating the calories back like everyone has said to do. So I'm eating about 1800 daily, isn't that the way to look at it? I'm pretty sure the six pounds I've lost these last three days are just water weight, but I'm…

So I am supposed to leave a deficit right? Like not eat all my calories back after the ones I lost after walking?
-
Thank you Teresa, This is just so frustrating because I figured if I eat a green pepper instead of a pop tart then I'm better off...lol... I only did this onetime before the summer before college, and all I did was stop eating out, only ate homemade foods, didn't stop eating anything in particular, just portion control,…

I'm basically speed walking following my son to school on his bike while pushing my daughter. Started out as a need cuz the car broke down but now I love it and my kids do too. Just this week my friend and I started trying to jog at intervals but we are just getting a bit at a time to get it going, we are newbies and outta…

MFP says 1200 is my daily but I walk almost 8 miles daily....like 7.8 miles daily so when I log it it gives me a huge deficit to fill in. When I asked before, ppl onMFP said eat the calories you workout back....so I did.... None if us on this site is perfect so I get the underestimating over estimating issues, but I weigh,…

I was really good and I weighed all my food, I lost six lbs and then began binging on the weekends. I am also always doing something, I'm home with my kids and I'm always cleaning something lol. So I'm not staying still. Crossing my finger and praying dr strength to keep on chugging.

Lol okay.....

About my walking burn, I'm underestimating.... I don't log what MFP suggests. I walk 7 to 8 miles daily pushing a stroller with a 30 lb toddler at 4.0 mph and the occassional jog (still getting used to it and embarrissingly sall amount of time) I wear a pedometer and it gave me a number of 650 I still only log 600. I also…

Any advice on this?

Another thing, I'm reading about calories and all the stuff I read says eat 1200 calories and move. Doesn't say to eat the calories back.... I know this is a thing on MFP and its recommended to eat back calories but could that be impeding my goals? My mother says yes, the articles say so.... Why is MFP made to eat them…
-
I was thinking just that.....not to be rude but only because I do walk 7 miles
-
Sorry, opened it up now... Go at it.
-
Thank you so much. I will be doing that. All your replies have been super helpful. I haven't been feeling great this. Week so I will start walking again tomorrow.
-
Thank you all for the replies. Very frustrated with myself. It should be easier and it isn't.

Add me please!

Lol thank you all soooo much, I'm so lost with the scale that I focus on it and can't see the other numbers going down, thanks! I really need the thumbs up, I'm hoping to start adding beginners yoga to help with my body pain issues....we shall see....

I'm having a really hard time with my food intake, I walk six miles daily but I'm not losing at all. I'm really upset because I have been tracking and I'm low on calories but still holding on to weight. HW: 191 CW: 179 GW: 120 5'3"

We love salmon, and my picky eater loves this recipe, super duper easy, ready? Ziplock bag, minced garli, soy sauce, brown sugar....that's it! Place salmon in ziplock, pour enough soy sauce to cover fish and make a little puddle around the fish portions, put garlic to your liking, and put brown sugar. My it all together,…

I have them already.... Bought them a while back, wondering if I should toss em or use em.
-
Lol now I'm embarrassed... I did my last weigh in last Thursday and did my weekly weigh in today. So a few days I guess....
-
I've been told, maybe it water or something, muscle maybe too, I dunno but I have stuck it out given a day or two of binging but other than that pretty good.
-
Thank you for the tips, I'm going for the bulk amount of pre made home cooking to get me through. Hehe. Thanks again.
