Hi Sharon, i'm doing slimming world at the moment although i still pop on here most days, i've been doing slimming world 11 weeks now although i've stopped attending group as i didn't really like it. My reason for joining was after doing my fitness pal for almost 2 years with great success my weight loss had stalled, i…

eating back exercise calories doesn't work for me either, i use a HRM so i know that what i burn is as accurate as can be, i can get away with eating a small amount of them back if i do a big burn, say if i burn 1000 cals it doesn't seem to make much difference if i eat 2-300 of those back but otherwise i gain weight or…

Birmingham here, i have been using MFP for 9 monts and have lost 61lbs so far but still have around 65-ish to go, feel free to add me, and that goes for anyone else too :)

with all that exercise you could be retaining water to help repair your muscles, drink plenty of water and try not to worry too much, the scales will catch up :)
-
my wii weighs me exactly the same as my digital scales, so mine must be accurate although the mechanical scales at the gym weigh me 8-10 lbs less than both, although i'd love to weigh 8-10lbs less i go with the weight on the wii and digital scales :)

for me personally i don't tend to go to the gym at that time, exercise seems to make my periods heavier and i usually feel pretty crappy already so i don't like to make it worse, so i just have a few rest days. i don't know if thats the same for everyone though.
-
i definitely think irregular periods are related to being overweight for a lot of people, not for everyone though. i started MFP at 283lbs and was that weight and i'm sure even more at times for over 10yrs, i had very irregular periods for all that time, i would never know when i was going to have one, it could be every…

i have the FT4 and absolutely love it, its easy to use and well...its just great, i wouldn't be without it, well worth the money.

I used to stop mine as soon as i'd finished on what ever equpment i was using but recently i started stopping it when my heart rate level goes back to or under my target range which is 119 at the moment. it usually only takes a minute or 2 before it reaches that depending on how high my heart rate was.

its only been 10 days since Dec 27th and you say you've lost 7.2lbs, that is a fantastic loss, sometimes the scales show no or very little change, i'm a daily weigher, can't seem to help myself so i know all too well the frustrations and disappointments when the number isn't going down. I wouldn't say you've hit a plateu…

a HRM is invaluable in my opinion, MFP is way out on it's calorie burn, some of the machines at the gym are not too far out but out all the same, some are massively out which can cause problems if you are eating all your exercise calories. for example this week i spent 20 minutes on the treadmill and according to my HRM i…
