I get up at 3:00 AM in the morning and walk for 2 hours. That gets me about 12,000 steps. Next, I walk about 8,000 - 10,000 steps during the workday. It really adds up.
-
Sure, count me in. I'll be way above the 310,000, but it gives me one more thing to focus on 3/1: 22,068 3/2: 17,888 so far Total for March: 39,956

The Sync from MFP to FitBit for Food appears to be working for me now! Yaay!
-
BTW, using Charge HR.
-
Confirmed that exercise is sync'ing in MFP. However, I'm not getting Food from MFP into FitBit.

@CarlydogsMom What is pickleball? Just curious.

I just entered maintenance a few weeks ago and flew past my UGW (170 - 58, male, 5'10", range is 166 - 174) to 167.4 last week. I was sick with the cold, so that might have contributed. Still, it is weird because I have to make sure to eat enough now. I do a fair amount of cardio and I'm not giving that up, so my Net…

Mine is just to maintain right now. I just entered true maintenance last week. I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR in November 2015 and am loving it. I love numbers and it is right up my alley.

I've lost 80 lbs in 10 months (250 -> 170). I do exercise (cardio) at least 6 times a week getting anywhere from 10k - 25K steps a day from speed walking. Also, have a Fitbit Charge HR for the last two months which has spurred me on. Finally, I was faithfully entering my data into MFP and only eating back some of my…

This my second time doing using MFP. The first time, I lost 90 lbs. in 10 months. I was exercising at the company-provided gym and calorie counting. That got me from 250 to 160. I maintained for 6 months and then my job location changed. I had to drive 50 miles one-way in DC traffic. Also, there was no gym at work anymore.…

@andyphillips899 Yep, I'll have to go out and get some bread. Haven't had bread in the house for months on end. I can finally eat a peanut butter (I do love peanut butter) and jelly sandwich. I'm kind of scared, too. But I know how to lose the weight, so it's not really that concerning.
-
@andyphillips899 You aren't the only one that has this issue. I'm just hit my ultimate goal weight this last weekend. My calorie limit according to MFP (maintaining) is 2,000. On top of that, I'm getting around 1,500 - 2,000 calories extra from my fitbit (this is speed walking/jogging for about 2 hours) almost every day.…

Just reached my UGW (ultimate Goal Weight on Saturday). I've been at this for 10 months and have lost 80 lbs. I've switched from losing .5 lbs a week to maintaining a couple of weeks ago. Am I happy? Yes, but I now need to start a re-comp. I still have some belly that needs to be tightened up. Still, at 58, 5'10", male,…

The sad part for me was that in 2010, I went from 250 to 170 in 10 months, kept that way for about 6 months, and then had a job move. I now had to go around Washington DC traffic and commute 50 miles each way. Also, when we moved, I no longer had access to the company-provided gym. Needless to say, I got lazy and was tired…

I guess I'm one of those outliers. I normally weigh myself every Saturday morning. Since I was out of town on December 26th, I skipped that Saturday and didn't weigh in until January 2nd. I actually lost 2.6 pounds. I'm now officially in the healthy BMI. I've only got 3.2 pounds to get to my UGW (170 - my range will be 166…

I got a Fitbit Charge HR as a present for myself in early November because of a really good checkup with the doctor. I started at 250 in early March and just hit 173.2 (healthy BMI) this weekend. The Charge HR is really motivating me to keep my step count up (over 20K steps a day this month so far). I'm going to…

In response to LaceyBirds question, Can I ask you both why your doctors advised you to not lose more? I have kidney issues and she doesn't want me to get to thin. Also, she is OK with me lifting weights, but whe doesn't want me to bulk up.
-
Just got into the normal BMI today. Still have about 3 lbs. to go. Doctor said not to go any lower. Still, I feel great.
-
I bought a Fitbit Charge HR in November as a reward for a really good health checkup with the doctor. I absolutely love it. Of course I am a data-junkie, so that makes sense. Also, since it is synced with MFP, I don't have to time my workouts anymore.
-
@alizesmom, You are not alone. I get on the road around 3:30 AM and do anywhere from 5 - 8 miles. A little running and a fair amount of speed walking and I have fallen twice (both bloodied my fingers). Once was when a sprinkler went off right next to me and I jumped to get away and tripped. Neither time stopped me from…

I've decided to enter maintenance today. I'm still 7 lbs. from my UGW (3 lbs. from a healthy BMI), but the pounds are coming off quick and don't want to blow by it. I've been doing a lot of walking/running (around 15K on weekdays and anywhere from 20 - 30K on the weekends). My net calories have sometime been negative for…
-
Thank you for sharing! I'm only 7 lbs. from my goal weight and have been a little concerned about maintenance.

I ran into a co-worker that I hadn't seen in 6 moths or so. His comment to me was "Where is the rest of you?"
-
Yeah, sodium is crazy. I'm on a "sort of low " sodium diet (doctor says less than 2,000 mg). I have to watch everything!
