Sorry i kind of forgot about the group over christmas break!! So, how did it go? Just make sure you dont hurt yourself...you dont want to really put yourself off limits!! It sucks sometimes when you cant workout, i hate it!!! But sometimes ya gotta take a break!:)

You can only help a p[erson so much, but if they are not willing to help themselves, thats not your fault! You tried, you were honest and even though it was hard, told her what she needed to hear!!! My friend got a HRM too recently and her cals burned was way more than what MFP gave her as well... But it seems to working for her....all her different workouts and amount of times seems to give her about the same burn or close to each time on her hrm...so its pretty accurate.

I know the feeling!! I take little breaks from Turbo Fire as its really intense....and when i re-start the program, for the first few weeks, im dead!! lol

Punch, kick & jam is def a great cardio burn too! When i did TJ I always said that one was by far the hardest!

I have never done it from the modifications view, so thats what i was thinking, cause its very intense..So ya, maybe you could start off doing it that way (Modified) & work yourself up for it!:)

If you huffing and puffing through her 20min, then def not ready for TF yet, its wayyyyy harder than that!! lol But just keep going and you will be ready!!:)

It is def a challenge to keep it off...Ppl should not look at it as a diet and for now to reach the goal you want, you have to learn to slowly change your eating altogether and know that you will have to continue for always to maintain. Thats right, so whats right for you. Good form is better than lifting heavy! As long as whatever weight you are using still allows you to maintain good form, then you are on the right path!:)

Turbo Fire is def WAY more intense than Turbo Jam itself! The workouts in Turbo Fire are 30min-45min-50min and there is also HIIT workouts, short but VERY INTENSE!! I have lost all my weight on Chalene's workouts! 80LBS worth! I love them all....I would suggest doing Turbo Fire & CLX at the sametime.....I lost my first 40lbs with Turbo Jam and my last 40 with TF & CLX.

I know you burn alot of calories just dancing in general...My friend wore her HRM one night when we were dancing and she burned about 700cals in just 2h of dancing.

I followed Turbo jam to a T...thats what i did first and lost 40lbs, then moved on to Turbo Fire. I lost the rest of my weight with turbo Fire 40 more lbs...I am on round 3 of Turbo Fire, i just do it now to stay in shape....I did follow the Schedule, although i would sometimes make changes here and there to fit in my time…
