I measure my bodyfat, muscle mass and water % I dont mind putting on pounds as long as my bodyfat goes down Use salter scales - seem pretty accurate I was 28% bodyfat 2 years ago down to 11% now aiming for 9-10% for my holidays in September

I took CLA it makes your body use the fat as energy quicker there is also thermo tablets they raise your body temperature and make you burn a lot of energy

i get it really bad I wear a hat when I run now ear plug earphones help too I even wore a hat when I ran the Belfast marathon last year and it was hot/sunny
