I'm starting over too. I started in 2013 at 220 lbs and got down to 158 as my lowest weight in 2014. Since then, I've been gaining it back or maintaining but never losing, I am back up to 200+ :/ I would love an accountability buddy. Feel free to add me. :)

Have you been taking measurements? Your body may be changing with your lifting, but the number on the scale can remain the same.
-
I was having the same problem as you recently! Then suddenly my weight was 3 lbs less one day. You just need to keep going :) your body may be holding onto water to help your muscles recover.

I'm 5'2" and 165, down from 220. ^^;

maybe someone on here can help me. here are my stats: SW: 220. CW: 165 F, 23, 5'2" I exercise every day, at least a 30ish minute walk. it burns about 100 calories. lately I play DDR which is like HIIT and I can burn anywhere from 100-300+ calories from that. But I am not working, and do a lot of sitting around. My calorie…

I'm 5'2" and my goal is 150 right now. I'm not sure what weight I should really try to go for for my frame. It feels kinda bad seeing you guys describe your highest weights of like 130 as "yucky".. I'll feel lucky if I ever get that low. I started at 220 lbs. I set my goal at 150 because i remember seeing that number in…

I can't really remember if I was picked on for my weight in school. But one instance comes to mind from my Aunt's boyfriend, who I've known since I was a child. He has always been one to comment on how i'm looking, for example he pointed out that my acne was clearing up when I had it badly. In reality, it was makeup…

I kind of did before I realized how many calories a body needs to function. for the most part, I can eat and enjoy myself without eating "too much" :) if you are meeting your calorie goal, that's just fine and is suggested. I suppose it's normal to feel a little guilt if you go over your goal, but when that happen you just…

This seems like it may be a good place to ask... I average around 1200-1400 a day. over the winter I was purely sedentary but since it's been warming up a little, I've been getting daily exercise burning 100-250 cals. I'm 22 F, 5'2", 167ish lbs. am I eating too little? I do feel hungry sometimes, but snacking helps. I…

I suppose it's because your stomach is empty from fasting while you slept. I've never noticed it in myself, but I have noticed when my dad gets up in the morning his stomach looks deflated. :P

Maybe it's bad.. but I just give in! just as long as fried chicken isn't a daily thing for you, I think it would be okay.

I'd love to be a cheerleader for you :)

I haven't read any of the replies, just want to throw out my thoughts :P I feel like what should really be promoted is not being an *kitten*. Don't accept obesity when you can have better, but also don't be an *kitten* to or make fun of a fat person. If an obese person understands the risks that they are taking by not…

I want to eat ALL the food, but logging to exact numbers can be a pain sometimes. or eating something that someone else made and you don't know the exact ingredients and portions. D: I mean, I love it. but it's an MFP nightmare!

Hi everyone. I have another 50 (more or less) pounds to lose :) If you need help staying on track, add me and I'll be your cheerleader. :) I could use a cheerleader too.

I'm going to log the best that I can. The most annoying thing for me would be not knowing exactly how much of an item I am consuming. I need a food scale. I won't mind if the number is a lot higher than usual, I just want to know what the number will be!
-
Remember that the time it will take you to lose what is left is going to pas anyway, and you may as well spend it bettering yourself. :) the other 25 will be gone before you know it.

If they disregard something you can stick with, have fun with, and see results with.. I say disregard THEM!

I'm 5'2, but not so small framed at 191lbs currently. I can't even imagine myself getting down to less than 130lbs. My goal is 150, but since it is still considered overweight (and when I did weight 150, I thought i'd need to lose 20lb but didn't know how) I will probably shoot for 130. do I fit in with this thread? ^^;

Hey, I'm 5'2 as well. My goal weight is 5 pounds above your starting weight. when I get there i'll see if I want to keep going. :P anyway, I have read that when you hit a plateau you may need to restrict more. have you tried eating 200 (or some) less calories than you have been?

Sounds kinda like the candida diet, but I'd only want to try that if I was having recurring yeast infections. Funny, this is how my weight loss started- I had a yeast infection, and tried the candida diet to try and stave off the yeast, and dropped 5 pounds very quickly, but I was pretty much starving myself because there…

Did you just say only 45 calories..?!?!?!?1 I NEED IT

I've been eating the same thing for breakfast every day for weeks... oatmeal with a tbsp of peanut butter! sometimes a banana thrown in there.
-
My original goal was 150 pounds (i'm a 5'2 female, 196 right now), but after looking at BMI charts I see that 150 is still overweight and nearly in the obese category. when I was 150, I felt kinda fat, but I maintained that weight for a long time, then finished school and weight piled on. So I guess my REAL goal is around…

ride my bike. I still get tired out pretty quickly from riding, but each time I feel stronger than the last. :)
-
It was that way for me. But the last period I had, I was reading like 5 pounds less than I had been the previous day. o_O I think my period flushed out some water weight. I hope it happens again next time lol :P

Mine is hamburger helper. Not the best thing, I know! at least we are substituting the beef for turkey.

Thank you again for the replies! I do wonder if I should be in sedentary at all. I figured I'd set it as such because my exercise is pretty light. at first, I would only walk about 20 minutes, but I've upped it. I do housework and things but I spend a lot of time sitting at the computer. :P I don't have a job. But if I got…

Thank you all for your responses, I appreciate anyone taking their time to write back. :heart: I didn't think about how since I have extra energy stores, it's more okay for me to dip under my BMR. as I get closer to 150, 140, 130, maybe not as much. I do feel tired and exhausted some days, but I think it's because I am…

I wonder the same thing too. When i spend all day at an amusement park, I just log it as 120 minutes of walking or something like that. I feel like it should be logged, because i'm coming home exhausted.
