Heart Rate Monitors, as well as the Body Bugg or similar to , if you get a Heart Rate Monitor get one that has a strap to go around your chest is is extremely more accurate. Polar is a good brand.

Upping calories is hard for a lot of people and even more so once you get to maintenance mode cause there you will be eating 1700-1800 calories a day, and more on your active days. but you'll get use to it, you'll see your body respond correctly.

I agree with most people on here. Cant see your food diary but sodium is likely the culprite. HOw much water are you drinking it makes a HUGE difference! :D

I had a polar and now I have the body bug how both give me a read out on calories burn but both include the calories you burn just living which are already calucateled in MPF. CHobani is AMAZING best ever. I have tried other flavors but they were more bitter than Chobani I LOVE LOVE LOVE it has really up my protein intake, I'm going to try and mix some ranch poweder dressing in a plain one and see how that goes because it absorbs flavors so well!!!!

That really sucks. BUT you are so RIGHT. This is a LIFESTYLE change, and in LIFE sometimes you'll have cake, or go out to eat. it is NOT unhealthy to eat 1200 calories it IS VERY UNHEALTHY to eat less than 1200 calories. I suggest eating higher calorie- HEALTHY foods earlier in the day. AWESOME....water is SO important. I use to be HORRIABLE about drinking water. Like I was hospitalized several times for dehydration....not anymore though :D GOOD JOB

Hi Ladies well I didn't make my goal of 100 ounces of water, i only got about 60 in. and I forgot to take my vitamin, but I did go to bed on time last a night and i did my work out this morning. so Good start, room for improvement tomorrow. How was everyone's elses first day.

HRM's and BB's are the only thing i can speak to, they give great insight to what you are actually burning rather than guesstimating gives you another way to challenge yourself. BB's are expensive HRMS are about half the price if you get a good one. DO NOT get one with out a chest band they are really inaccurate. polar is…

no that was an example i can burn more based on mpf i burn 1.3 calores per minute LIVING the example of 300 calories in 60 minutes was just an example of the math. same theory applies for 500 calories in 60 minutes still take 1.3*60= 78 and subtract from 500 which leaves you with the actual work out burn i burn anywhere…
