  • I'm from Wisonsin too! Milwaukee area. I just started logging again yesterday after about year off after having my baby....Theres always lots of good posts to read. And as long as you log everyday (well, most days) I'm sure you'll lose weight!
  • Thanks everyone. Sarah, I do the same as you. Now that I'm back to work I just always pump 3 or 4 times a day and my 3 and half month old gets the rest from formula. I haven't counted the calories since he's been born but now I want to start losing weight so I want to start counting.
  • Can't wait to try this!

  • Lisa, that's very good considering beer has lots of cals. I had a couple beers this weekend too but no change this week. We went camping this weekend so no computer to log my food, so I'm very happy about not gaining. I leave for Vegas on June 24 so I don't think I'll be losing what I wanted but I know I'm on the right…
  • Yes I've been working out. I did 4 days last week with the weekend as my break and started up again this week. I have been slowly working up my working up my workout routine after a winter and I guess spring of inactivity
  • I did alright this week. No gain, but still disappointed that I didn't have a loss. Hopefully this week I'll lose.
  • Good job guys! Sorry I was up north all weekend and no access to a computer. Thus I could not log what I ate which I think is why I'm up a pound. Really it's no change from last week because that pound I gained when I wrote here last Monday I lost during the week but then gained it back this weekend.
  • I am also up a pound but am happy to say I logged everything, which I also thought was depressing. I did eat out for lunch both Saturday and Sunday due to family events so that did not help. This next week I will continue to log everything and add in lots more water. I noticed how little water I drink on the weekends…
  • I really like eatingwell.com for recipies!
  • This book sounds interesting. Anybody read it and have opinions on it?
  • Oh my is right, that's the best food......Now my husband said we may get free tickets to the brewers game tonight so if that's the case I need to follow this same advice:smile: And today at work they are having an ice cream social and I am being strong and just sticking to my strawberries for a snack. It feels good to beat…
  • Wow, that reunion story is crazy! Lisa they might have a little deli stand where you can get a sandwich or packaged salad. At our stadium we also can get a grilled chicken sandwich, otherwise I would think a hot dog would be the next best thing and if you can eat only half the bun even better...I don't like sushi so I…
  • Mondays are prob the best, that way over the weekend that's what I'll think about when I want to eat! PM is fine with me too. Lisa, your puppy is soooo cute....I know I should put a recent picture up too....this one is at least 3 years old
  • For my first week, I will also be sure to log everything! I also usually log during the day at work but then at home during nights and weekends I always slack. :ohwell: And I really like that idea of logging what I eat ahead of time, I think that'll help! We can message individually, I'm fine with that.
  • You know what, I think I'm in.....I think I'm just like you. I recently got married and tried to lose weight for the wedding last October and I didn't and since the wedding I gained even more. I keep saying I need to make logging here part of my routine but I haven't. I'm ready to start being accountable and this will…
  • Can't wait to try, thanks!
  • I'm from WI. Yeah, I'm sick of the cold.....burrrr
  • Does anyone drink vitamin water? Is this really good for you? One bottle has like 150 calories....Is there a better choice out there? Thanks!
  • This happens to me too. I want to try to run a half marathon so I started this program to train and the past couple weeks I've been running my foot goes numb. I'm worried I won't be able to do a half marathon. I have to stop walk till it goes away then i can run again, but it comes back :(
  • I would love to try these. Thanks!
  • At the fitness center with no one else around (it's small and in my apartment building) wearing my Polar F4 HRM and on a treadmill that says "polar compatible" for heart rate reading. Now with that in mind, I was on the treadmill for 1 hour and most of the time the treadmill and HRM were in 10 beats of each other, but…
  • I just had to reply to you to say thank you for sharing this. It's very inspirational and helps to keep moving forward :flowerforyou:
  • Mine is pretty basic..It's a polar F4 (from target). I really like it though. It's nice to know exactly how many calories I burn doing absolutely any exercize.
  • Thanks
  • I know theres been a lot of talk here about HRM's so I'm hoping someone will know the answer to this. I worked out for 35 minutes with my heart rate "in zone" (in my target heart rate zone) and my HRM says I burned 295 calories. Is this the correct amount I can log here on MFP or are some of these calories already…
  • Thanks, can't wait to try!
  • I've been looking for a good spinach recipe! Thanks!
  • Sorry I havn't been on here and haven't posted the last 2 weeks but I did continue to shred. I actually still have the rest of this week to go (as I took a few days off). As of this morning I only got down 3 pounds, but like others, do see a change in muscle definition which I am VERY happy about. Good work everyone!
  • Never heard of this, but sounds good. I'll also be trying it!
