Steel cut oats is my go to (lower on the GI and less calories than rolled) with almond milk, honey, greek yogurt, & blueberries. Yummm.... Oh and I prefer mine cold :)

EGGSSSS. I could not do breakfast without them... also, peanut butter and apples. Or Greek yogurt and berries of some kind. I cannot do breakfast without A LOT of protein.

No. Here is what I do: On cardio days I eat back up to my BMR at a minimum (around 1450). On lifting days I eat my TDEE-15% + 200 Kcals (which is usually 1800-ish for me). EDIT: I'm trying to lose only 1/2 or less lbs per week.

Take a look at my pictures and you'll see a 5'5" women at around 140 pounds. And I am NOT happy. Someone at our height is better served around 125-130. Which is my goal. I luckily have an hour glass figure so I'm able to hide the weight very well under my clothes, but put me in a bathing suit and I can't handle it.

Is it possible that you and your friends can pick one night a week or one night every other week that is dedicated to each other for food and drinks or what have you? This way you know its coming and you can shift one of your weekend days to fill in for that day instead. I don’t think you should give in and put your life…

Summer Porridge (Overnight Oats): ½ cup steel cut oats, ½ cup of almond milk, 2 tablespoons greek yogurt, a tablespoon of honey, and a ¼ cup of your favorite frozen fruit. I love blueberries. Mix it up in a mason jar and put in the fridge for at least overnight (I usually make a weeks worth at once and it only gets better…

Wavy Lay’s and French onion dip are my down fall. Also ketchup… yumm.

I too sit at a desk all day slaving away. My favorite meal is a hummus plate I pack the night before and is totally utensil free. You'll need more than I as a bigger guy, but I'm very satisfied eating 6 tablespoons of hummus with 2-3 servings of cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots and 2/3 of a whole wheat flat bread pita.…

Pros: They are delicious and I can't go a day without one... or two. Cons: None as they are delicious.

This. She should have to eat X amount first that you determined then she gets dessert.

I own several of their running shirts (tanks, short and long sleeve), running skirts, and running socks. To me the winner is the shirts and the socks, though the skirts have amazing fit and look so cute. They are best athletic shirts I own and I own A LOT. They wick away sweat and keep you so dry. And the socks are padded…

What a thought provoking article. Thanks for sharing. I tried to go back to work after reading half, but I couldn't stop.

That’s usually me, but I recently lost a loved one a few weeks ago and went MIA…. though I’m back for real this time (just in cast you checked my activity recently). I pre-log my food religiously, exercise 4-6 days a week (cardio and strength), and love to post statuses and comment on others. Feel free to add me.

Go here right away and adjust your macros accordingly: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Read up on TDEE & BMR. You are NEVER to eat below your BMR (this is why WW didn't work for me and destroyed my metabolism in the process) as it is the calories you burn just by laying down and breathing. I was eating 1200…

I literally just posted this on the first WW defectors wall: "I too am a defector and left about 8-ish months ago I’d venture to guess. I gained it all back and then some because I didn’t realize I wasn’t eating enough food. The starvation diet goes a long way at first which is why WW works, but then you destroy your…

The starvation diet goes a long way at first which is why WW works, but then you destroy your metabolism in the end. I’m still in the process of repairing the…

First: SLOW DOWN! You're clearly running too fast if you're trying to go for distance. Second: I love to run and do it about 3x per week. I didn't need to, but I did do the C25K program just to see what everyone was raving about and honestly it's a really good way to build up stamina for long distance runs. They keep you…

I love nice things, but I cannot justify spending a lot on workout headphones I will most likely lose (I go through about 5 pair a year easy). SkullCandy Chops are $15 and are by far my favorite and most comfortable sports headphones I own. I have tiny ears and they’re one of the few that actually stay put, don’t…

I love green tea. IMHO Gunpowder is too harsh a taste without some sort of mint leaf in there as well. I would add some dried spearmint and lemon grass to cut the bitterness. Sugar is going to defeat the purpose of drinking the tea. Also, be wary lf letting it steep for too long. That will give it an awful taste. If these…

This is my routine when I'm in my groove. I own a Giant and I LOVEEEEE it. It is the best bike I have ever owned. The carbon composite frame is so light and the overall performance is top notch. I was lucky enough to receive my bike as a gift, but in all honesty when it comes time to replace it I will be saving up the money to get another. It is worth every penny…

There is no way I could qualify for the Boston any time soon (but it is a dream of mine that might be doable in about 3-5 years). Awesomeness for those of you fast enough to make it. I've got some 5Ks lined up this summer and my first 5K (and maybe all of them) in Cleveland will be dedicated to Boston and those who won't…

Thanks for sharing all. I'm going to add .45 to my 5K tonight for Boston.

I'm not a hardcore cyclist or anything, but I do love ride. Got an awesome sun burn yesterday from my two hour ride. So glad the weather is finally starting to be nice enough to get my bike out. I also need more friends so feel free to add me!

Thanks for sharing. Your story is truly inspiring and is reaffirming my decision to cut back on my cardio and get to lifting some weights!

I love a cucumber in my water. It takes away any icky flavors that might in there and gives it a nice crisp refreshing taste. I too struggle with drinking enough water, but not because I hate the taste, but because there are just other things I like to drink. Mostly tea and coffee. I now make myself drink a glass between…

This. I find that the more high end the designer the less they do what's called vanity sizing (i.e. you mentioned Ralph Lauren specifically as needing a bigger size). In my post I put I was pant size 8, but in most stores/most of my jeans the tag actually reads 6 due to vanity sizing.
-
I'm currently 136 lbs and 5'4" and my pant size is a US 8 and my dress is a US 10. I'm not sure on the weight part (as honestly that doesn't matter so much as the inches falling off), but I'm shooting for a pant size US 4 and a dress size US 6 (which is what I was when I was 20).

Prenatal Vitamin Calcium Biotin Evening Primrose Oil NKO Krill Oil Vitamin C Zyrtec All are doctor recommended/approved... got to love being a women thinking about wanting to have a baby.... I don't take anti-inflammatory pills unless I'm really, really in pain and sleeping it off/stretching/drinking water doesn't help.
