I'm your same height and age and let me tell you it takes a long time when we're so close to goal and within a healthy weight range. It took me 7 months of hard work to just drop 6.5 lbs. So long as you're still losing (and being so close to goal .5 lbs a week is a good goal) you're doing fine. I'm going to reiterate what…

This is going to end well...

The weight gain comes after you quit. Yasmin has some diuretic qualities and a lot of women actually lose weight while on it (I did until my eating caught up with me). After I quit I bloated up like an overstuffed sausage. 10 lbs in a couple months! It’s been slowly coming off and I can tell because my stomach doesn’t look…

I HATE BC. Hate, hate, hate. I quit that garbage a year ago and am so glad it’s finally out of my system and things are working as normal again. I’m me again. I forgot what it was like to be me off of Yasmin and I couldn’t be happier. I prefer to use NFP by tracking my cycle (using basal body temp amongst other things) and…

Awesome! Next item on your list: find a new college football team

I second this.

I love my wine too. I might actually kill a man who tries to separate me from my red wine. That said, I switched to Italian wine glasses (they look they small juice glasses). The wine I drink is 120 cals for 6 oz glass which means I get to fill the whole glass to the top. Makes me feel like I’m drinking more.

I have an open diary and log every day (not this past week I was on vacation... sad I ruined my streak but there it is). Sent you a friend request.

I work a desk job for a clothing company so I don’t lift ever at work, but our sample sale is coming up and I volunteered to help. When I had to lift a large box of denim jeans (weighed roughly 70 lbs) and carried it to the other side of the warehouse no sweat I realized how strong I’ve become.

In because I'm shocked this thread hasn't been locked yet.....

Thanks for this! Starting Insanity in a week and looking to finally blast that last 15 lbs (or couple of inches off my waist and hips once and for all).

I was a preppy jock (cheerleader and all that), but my school was so small that the “groups” mixed a lot.

Yep. All of my friends and most of my family are nurses and 80% of them are at least overweight if not more.

Happens to me every time I eat food heavy in grease. I had a bunch of fried food last weekend for the first time in a while and 2 hours later I was vom’ing up a grease slick. Ick!

Polycystic ovary syndrome. It's a women's health issue.

http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ ETA: It’s the number of calories you can eat in a day (at your current activity level which means exercise is built into this number. MFP does NOT build this in which is why you need to eat your exercise calories back) and not gain weight. To lose weight most recommend -15% to…

All of my compression wear is UA and I have to go a size up because of how tight it is. I would try on some before buying online. Also when I wear it it’s the only thing I wear. I don’t ever layer over top of it. It doesn’t make me any hotter or colder than anything else IMHO. I love my compression wear because I love very…

I have done a couple of color runs now and they are strictly fun runs. Your bib isn’t chipped and there is no clock at the start or finish. I personally enjoy them because of that reason (don’t get me wrong I do love competitive 5Ks too, but sometimes you just need to have fun and take your time and enjoy the course). ETA:…

Yes :) Takes me back to my honeymoon when we visted Cakebread.

If I can drink it straight from the bottle the second I bring it home with no refrigeration required I love it. ETA: If you look in my diary it's the only drink I consume that contains calories so therefore it must be awesome if I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

That’s not completely true. A little saturated fat is also good for you. Almonds, avocados, peanut butter all contain saturated fats… especially my delicious peanut butter. You’re not supposed to go and face a bag of potatoes chips however and I obviously know that. I’ve been doing this eating healthy and mostly clean for…

Yeah. My HDL was abysmal (below the men’s requirement), but conversely my LDL was awesome. That fat macro to me is just as important as my protein. I’m curious to see what my cholesterol is now.

I don’t recall my exact numbers from a month ago, but I got told to eat more fat….. and I’ve since taken them up on that challenge

Mine is strong and rugged with a youthful face and it’s perfect to me. Thank goodness for his scruffy facial hair though or he’d look 15 years younger!

100% agree with this. You really don't want that stuff in your eyes under your contacts. The color zones are extremely dusty and it's already difficult to see.
-
It was the darker/more saturated colors that I struggled with because I’m super pale (i.e. blue was a B). My husband who is tan had no issues getting the color off of himself.
-
Wear as much white as you can, wear old tennis shoes because they will stain, get a pair of throw away sunglasses too. Getting that stuff in your eyes sucks (it'll also get in your nose and ears... those are fun to clean out later :grumble: ). Bring lots of towels for your car and a change of clothes. Did I mention that…

I'm between 5’4” and 5’5” weight 138.5 and wear a comfortable size 6 in US jeans on average (8’s if it’s a juniors brand or they run truer to Euro sizing and sometimes 4’s at GAP which is ridiculous). You have to be careful of vanity sizing ladies. My true actual size is an 8/10 and my wedding dress was a 12! Yes a 12!

I second, third, whatever what everyone else said. My personal favorite is Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard. My favorite flavor is cinnamon graham cracker. Yummm.

My thoughts exactly....
