I don't think it's a dumb question. I despise working out on machines, they bore me to death. I rather walk outside; do you think you'd be more motivated if you ran outside?

I also buy the "Just my size" at Walmart and they fit perfectly (and they have a no-elastic waist option). It's good to know they also sell them at Sears and Kohls, because my local Walmart apparently doesn't carry them anymore. Thanks for sharing!

I'm going through a crazy phase as well, and honestly, *sometimes* it helps me to think that all that crap is really temporary, but taking care of my body is something that will last. It doesn't work every time, but yeah, looking at all this overwhelming stuff from a distance -by putting it into context- can help. Good…

Thank you for your replies and suggestions! I think I might have been squatting too low, so I'll try it differently next time. Btw, I use dumbbells because that's all I have at home and I'm tired of waiting for the right time/equipment/blah blah blah :smile:

I'm also thinking along these lines because what you describe is the way I feel when my thyroid medication is off. I have also noticed that now that I"m not taking antihistamines anymore, I have a lot more energy. These are couple of things to consider if you haven't. Good luck!

Thanks for your replies! I was trying the conventional deadlift with dumbbells. No video of it. I'm trying it again on Wednesday, so I'll focus on whether I'm leaning forward too much or squatting too low because: 1- my arms are short and 2- the dumbbells too bulky to pull them close to my legs. Thanks again!

Yep, I particularly love to mix it with feta cheese or with sunflower seeds and balsamic vinegar in salads. I've seen it cooked (on pizza), but have never tried cooking it.
