  • I want to get healthy and cut my risk for diabetes and hypertension.
  • I am dreading what my skin will look like but I want to be healthy and active. Working as a nurse I see so many lives cut short due to obesity related complications. I just don't want that to be me. So saggy skin is the trade off for longer life and health.
  • I have 135 to lose I am following a paleoish diet. So far losing well. Eating better, also not starving every few hours. Always looking for new friends to help keep me inspired on my journey. Feel free to add me.
  • I do first thing in morning. No clothes. I also weigh every morning to average out weight over period of time. Only count Wen. number for actual WI. Good luck you can do this.
  • 135 to lose here anyone feel free to add me. Always nice to have support. Its going to be a long journey for me.
  • I use emeals for paleo meal plan. Great recipes when the kids like it something is good. (Two teenagers who are loving the meals) Plus I love having a shopping list so I only buy what I need not more so grocery bill lower as well. I usually eat leftovers for lunch and green smoothie or veggie filled frittatas for breakfast.
  • Congrats! I can't wait until my pants get loose enough to fall off so I know I have made real progress. I have a large amount to lose though.
  • Hashimotos here as well. I have lost 15lbs in a month but I have over 100lbs to lose. I follow a paleo style diet everyday but WI day. On WI day I chose to eat whatever I really want for dinner that day. Last week pizza this week BBQ and I was down 3.2lbs this week. Seems to be working probably due to deficit CI/CO. But…
  • Paleo is a way to help control glucose levels. Insulin resistant here my glucose levels are at a lower fasting range and within normal limits 2 hours after meals. I have lost 15lbs in a month following this plan. Also pinto meapple, grapes and bananas are high in sugar so watch how much you eat of those. Also I weigh…
  • Thanks I have never been very muscular even when at a good weight I just didn't want to lose excess and then try to build it back at a later point. I want to conserve.
  • You look amazing!!!
  • The body does things the way it wants to sometimes its pounds first then inches. Sometimes inches and then pounds. Be patient give it time it will balance out. You have lost two pounds that is great and if you are close to goal then that could be the reason why. Things go slower the closer to goal weight you are.
  • I weigh in tomorrow so what I do is after tomorrows WI I allow myself a cheat day I still log and weigh everything I eat it works for me. When I started I wouldn't allow myself foods I considered bad. I do follow a paleoish/clean eating thing and the first two weeks I craved pizza in the worst of ways. So I decided to…
  • Same here nvmom. It is wonderful how well my skin is starting to look.
  • Thanks for tip about keeping feet flat instead of toes only on ground. I find myself doing this while charting. Counters to high to sit with feet flat without getting different chair. However I have to reach up at odd angle. But already have back issue sure do not need PF to.
  • I walked 30 minutes today. Feeling great. Love the thread for motivation to keep me. Nice to meet everyone.
  • Had a great day today stayed on plan. Got my 30minute walk in. Hope everyone had a great day. WI tomorrow excited and nervous all at the same time. Down 12lbs in 3 weeks expecting to have a lower loss tomorrow, but I will take the tiny losses, tiny gains and standstills in stride.
  • Anyone can feel free to add me
  • I completely understand the nursing school weight. I gained 50+lbs and since working the last 5yrs gained probably another 20lbs. I can tell you 12hour shifts are rough with extra weight. My goal is to lose 135lbs. Good luck on your weight loss and completing nursing school. Add me as a friend if you like.

I have 135lbs to lose I just started 4 weeks ago (again, I have had a account for several years would use for awhile get frustrated and quit, never logged this long). I am very inspired this time. • I am following a paleoish inspired diet. No dairy no grains due to lactose intolerance and IBS symptoms. I weigh in tomorrow for official 4 week weigh in. As of week 3 down 12lbs maybe more tomorrow. However I have over 100lbs to lose. But usually around 100 carbs a day, lots of lean protein, veggies, fruit, nuts and…
  • Hey Mimi. Good luck on your journey. I have two children as well and have been overweight since I was pregnant with my first child. • Hello Bluebutterfly I am glad to meet you. Your story is so similar to mine. I have less to lose than you but not by much. My self esteem is horrible. I am tired of being tired all the time. I just want to take back the life I had in my early 20's when I was active and able to enjoy all the things I like to do. My oldest…
