To be honest....NO. What time do you wake up? or for that matter go to sleep? These could all be factors in why you feel this way. When do you consume your last nibble also? If you get a lot of fiber during the day you may feel full longer, Do you eat 3 meals plus 3 snacks a day? what is your calorie intake? I have already…

I took a look at your last week or so, your water intake is a bit shy of 8 glasses a day. I know it is hard but it really is important to get it into your daily habits. Try diet green tea/Lipton makes it and it is good but it also carries 25g of sodium per serving. But I like it much better than Snapples version so give…

I believe it to be weighed uncooked.

Not only will I be attempting to not weigh myself on a daily basis... Only weekly. I am also starting the 3DS today in addition to my regular visits to the gym 5 days a week. I wanna kick Augusts butt and bust through this plateau I have been stuck in.

I am hardly one to plan my meals....but I have some tricks. Take tonight, I had thawed a big package of chicken (about 7 breats) I am cooking ALL of it. So during the week I may take some and make a quick meal out of it, cut it up and make a chicken salad lunch or dinner. There are sooo many ways to change up chicken, so…

For the most part....you can do what is called A FLUSH.....for 1 week (ONLY) avoid them altogether. Since carbs are in pretty much everything except meats you will have a hard time doing this I am sure of it. BUT, and I strongly encourage you eat carbs, start adding them back into your diet because your body does need them…

Yes....very much so encouraged to have a good time and be a little more relaxed about the diet tonight. We all deserve a little fun. Enjoy!

I would say from the get go....the sodium is pretty high. Are the nuts/or almond crackers salted? Sodium will retain water and that may be part of the problem.

I think once you use the lean meat, everything else is low fat..... Lettuce, Tomato, you may want to skip the sour cream unless you find a good one. The cheese you use may need to be reduced fat. I usually add salsa to the meat mix along with taco seasoning I also found a great tortilla (soft) you may want to look for but…

I am not sure about Malysia culture...all I know is that cold water is best because your body uses energy to warm it. Translation cold water = calorie burn.

Looking further into this...I am finding that the water retention is a big part of this....http://ask.metafilter.com/50007/Why-do-I-gain-4lbs-after-intense-exercise It is starting to make sense....It would probably be best if you didn't weigh yourself daily unless you want to see the fluctuation that occurs. It would seem…

I am sorry to have misinformed you of the muscle vs fat theory... I myself have noticed the same thing and that is the way I have rationalized it to myself. I have since this posting looked into it further and found more information that would explain it. BUT....my question is How much WATER can you hold onto from…

Muscle.....is the reason. When you exercise you build muscle and it weighs MORE than fat does. So the scale will show this. I know.. . . . What a BIG PAIN, but you will benefit more from having muscle because having it helps burn more calories.

You would be much better off making pasta and using your own cheese to mix in if you have a craving for that kind of thing. Don't forget to mix in some brocoli or something to fill you up. Thats sounds like velveeta to me. Scary thought: when we are not dieting we would eat two or three cups without even blinking.

I know exactly what you are talking about.... I too buy jeans that are comfortably sized rather than a tight fit and I still wear them even now because ...1) I don't have the money to keep buying clothes right now and 2) It feels great to know I have lost so much and I swim in them. My sister was making fun the other day…

Don't let her ruin everything you have been working for..... She is an idiot, what the hell is her problem. We all have to keep negative attitudes OUT of our lives while we make changes so I suggest you do not return to her. You have lost 136lbs....remember that, you are strong. You can handle this.

I have heard of the 30 day shred, have not tried it yet. I heard it is great and results show quickly....I would advise to start with that one and then the other for the second 30....changing up the routine will keep you from getting bored.

My husband has always wanted a Great Dane (Big Scooby Fan)....but we have 2 Bull Mastiffs instead. If you think about it, they are a big part of my diet because they always want to eat my food. LOL. So if I share, I eat less.

I'm in...this should be fun.

Very nice tattoo, and impressive for your first. I will also be getting another tattoo as my reward for all this hard work. Good for you!

Truely astonishing transformation......I am extremely inspired by you. You look amazing...Keep up the great work.

Sounds like you may have to sacrifice a little at lunchtime to do some office workouts...they do say that alittle goes a long way. I hear ya when you say you have a full schedule but it does sound like you are very active a shouldn't feel like you are not getting anything done workout wise. Sounds like you are burning…

I am eating 1200 calories a day, and use my exercise calories as a cushion only. I don't usually eat back all of them. My calorie burn when I do workout is usually around 400. Treadmill for 45-50 min at a 3.5 mph speed. (I can hit 3 miles in that time at this pace). I also do some strength training for my upper body. I…

I like to make zucchini and squash (how do you feel about those?) Slice them up an saute them for about three minutes on Med Heat, then add a spaghetti sauce into the pan. Add some potato and cook till the potato is soft. That is three veggies all in one recipe (4 if you count the Tomato sauce) It is a Grandmother recipe…

Chinese food.....absolutely. I don't know why I love it, I just do.

Well, Buck up lil' camper... I know that might not help. I too have been out of work for some time now and I have found that the exercise and commitment to this ONE thing in my life that I CAN CONTROL, being my health. You have to pick yourself up and start again, this is a harsh world but you will make it. Just think.....…

I had the same effect with a 5 lb weight (the scale didn't even know it was there), but the two together ( a 5 and an 8) came up as 13 lbs....just the 8 lb alone said it weighed 9 lbs....go figure.
-
I just checked my digital scale with the trick to use a hand weight....I used an 8lb wight and it was saying it was 9lbs. So I guess I am still doing pretty good or I should break down and get a new scale because I don't think I can adjust it.
