  • You can drink green tea... I do drink my water but if I get bored I buy the Lipton Diet green tea 0 everything except sodium :frown: But it does get you through that I can't drink one more sip of water feeling. Water IS very important to help flush your body and hydrate you. Very important during workout sessions. Good…
  • I know what you are seeing....I have had this issue myself. I have been doing facial exercises to help with this. Here is a website that will explain some of them. I'm sure you can look for more if you wanted to. http://facialexercisesguide.com/8/how-to-get-rid-of-double-chin-3-double-chin-exercises/ Hope this helps. Sorry…

  • Have you tried the WhoNu? chocolate chip cookies? 3 cookies for 150 calories, not bad and they do get you through craving for sweets.
  • These are great suggestions. I also use the dark chocolate (it is my favorite) for these cravings. I usually put it in the freezer as a way of keeping it out of my mind as well and so far it has worked for me. The mousse temptations is also a yummy way to get over a chocolate craving and still be in control of the calories.
  • I would say you could move it or at least walk up to the bench and look around to see if someone notices you wanted to use it. If no one comes to collect the items, you have every right to move it off to the side for the moment and put it back when you are finished. It is there for everyone to use and people should not be…
  • I wouldn't put too much faith in it because . . . It says I should be around 145 for my h & w BUT the way my body is and the muscle I have I could look very gross and sickly if I lost that much...I think I would look pretty good at 160 or even 165. But we shall see. I say... lose until you feel and look your best.
  • I know that if you exclude too much your end result can be dry skin and brittle hair and fingernails. That is only part of it, I'm sure that fat is also important to the digestion of food and I'm sure there is probably more reasons...Try to get more in on a daily basis. Nuts are a great way to do it.

  • I have also been diagnosed with this Hypothyroidism about 3 years ago and recently I have found that it is relatively easy to lose 55 lbs so far. I am also taking 50 mcg of levothyroxine and have been for the last 3 years as well. I really don't have any other advice except for being VERY truthful to yourself and FOLLOW a…
  • I agree with Gio2369, her opinion is not even something you should worry about. If it makes you feel better to complain to management about her unhealthy attitude and bad customer service then do it. But I really don't think the gym owners really care. At my gym, every time I ask a question about what I could do to better…
  • It is when someone gets into the 199 range any thing under 200 lbs.
  • I went on the photo bucket site to see the images with the link.... AMAZING, you look so good, Congratulations, keep up the great work.:flowerforyou:
  • Thanks for that opinion and info link, I will be sure to check this out.....Just to establish my reasoning on the 2 lbs per week issue....I firmly believe anything more than that would be unsafe. Not everyone can experience this OR expect it. We all have goals that we set and sometimes they get met and sometimes they…
  • Well figure 2/ 2.5 lbs per week is ok times 11 (thats about right) 27.5 lbs (on the high end) and the first 10 probably dropped right off due to the change in eating habits. You are right on track as far as I can tell without looking at your food diary.
  • Breaking through a plateau is rough BUT you can do it. Try eating just a little more every day that you work out or do less strength training and more cardio or more ST and less cardio. It has to do with tricking your body, I know that for sure. At least for me anyway. I know if I don't eat back at least half my burned…
  • :flowerforyou: I'm gonna set you straight RIGHT NOW. After looking at your before and after (or during as the case may be) pics I have to say this: YOU are AMAZING, YOU look AMAZING. You have LOST 57 lbs and look really good. All this self perception is silly and you should start seeing yourself as amazing as I see you…
  • I deducted 10% of my CW to set a mini goal. That way you have say- 22 lbs to lose, and then 20 lbs to lose, 18 lbs and so on. The goals start out big but as you lose more the goals are smaller due to the new CW being lower. I don't have extra funds to reward myself either but I do celebrate when I meet a mini goal. More…
  • This is the strangest thing....I have been fighting the same cravings for about a week. LOL All I know is it is very hard. I try to just put it out of my mind, brush my teeth or even concentrate on something else. In fact I just signed on right now to see if I could get some kind of encouragement for the same thing. I…
  • You have done the deed....all you can do now is work it OFF. Don't be so hard on yourself, we all have the temptations and often give in to them. Its a LIFESTYLE change but you can have some induldgences. It will be OK:flowerforyou:
  • Tell them very firmly to "SHUT UP" LOL, those would be the little tricksters that want you to mess up, don't give in to them. Instead have water to give your stomach a little fill up. Try that and see if it curbs your voices, if not try celery or carrots to give you a chewing feeling. I have found that some popcorn around…
  • YES....there actually is such a thing. Its called Water intoxication, look it up
  • You can cook it in a pan and when it is all done add salsa on top and a sprinkle of any low fat cheese. Let the cheese melt and serve it on a bed of lettuce. Kind of a naked or unwrapped chicken taco.
  • Treats.....small ones that are meant for training, would be where I would start. I have Two (count em 2) Bull Mastiffs and they are putty in my hands. I got them both when they were 8 weeks old and I trained them to Listen to ME and NO back talking LOL By using small training treats, always followed by a "Good Boy or Girl"…
  • I think you should change out your shoes when your feet hurt....could make all the difference
  • I usually go with the uncooked weight. If you are cooking for more than yourself, I usually cook mine in its own little sauce pan so I know what is mine and I don't over estimate when serving it.

  • I know exactly what you are saying.....I smoke as well and I have found that diet PLUS quitting is WAY TOO HARD. So, I suggest you either hold off on the quitting while trying to cut back. Pack your fridge with as much celery and carrots as you can stand. When you feel you need one, do some crunches instead......sort of…
  • Glittermouse......LOL I just wanted to say....Cute little pole dancing bunny you have in your signature. Where ever did you get that?
  • Congratulations on your "Break on through to the other side" However, Just want you to know this is not a NSV LOL since that means "Non Scale Victory" and this is all about the scale. I don't want to make it any less of a VICTORY though. SO YAY!!!!!!!! Good for you. I can't wait to get there myself. :flowerforyou:
  • Yes....I have done this. LOL and it feels great. I can't afford clothes for each size also. But I do have to buy a dress soon to go to a wedding and I am holding off until I can get a smaller size. I actually try on dresses and that is an item I usually stay away from. It is fun to get these little perks.
