  • I exercise 5 days a week for min 45 mins. I usually eat back the calories. I'm so frustrated. Why am I so hungry? My stomach is growling right now. My goal is 110 lbs at 5'3" and I'm quite small boned. I don't care about my weight so much. I want to eat healthy and stay between 110-112 lbs.

  • Set at 0.5 lbs a week. Trying to increase protein and fat but having a problem keeping Sat Fat down too. I have high cholesterol and try to stick to 15g sat fat a day max. I'm really having a hard time with my choices.

  • Thanks, everyone, for the feedback. I'm really making an effort. I have some lower back issues that make me skittish with the exercise, but I do need to start branching out. My doctor recommended walking only for now given the daily pain I was having.
  • You guys are amazing. An egg sounds perfect.
  • I'm sorry, just remember it took you a long time to get to 172 and it will take you a long time to get it off. My advice is to put away the scale for now and just focus on the eating and exercise habits. Once you get those in a good place, then you can start to track the weight loss.

  • Unsalted almonds are my snack of choice. Also, yogurt is low-sodium.
  • Are you talking about a period of days or a period of weeks. I might suggest using MFP recommendations as-is and stepping away from the scale for a significant period of time (say a month). Maybe you are too focused on the number on the scale instead of your overall health/fitness?
  • Hi, I just found this thread again. Congrats, xreinvention! I've lost about 1.5 pounds this week. I am so stoked! I'm finding it very motivating to exercise when I get to log the time in MFP. I am 5'3" and started at 117 and would like to be 110. I am at 115.5 as of this morning. Woo-hoo! My cruise is in a bit over a month…
  • I'm in! I'll do a few on my breaks at work over in the stairwell.
  • Asthma can onset at any time. You should probably go to your doctor and get yourself checked out.
  • I'm in! I really need accountability. I've started my project to lose these last 10 pounds about 10 times and never succeeded. I want to succeed! Let's help each other out.
  • Wow, that sounds really frustrating. Can you try dropping your calories another 100-200/day and see if that helps? I'm a huge believer in reducing food being the biggest component to weight loss. Perhaps you just haven't hit on the calorie number that helps you yet. Are you meal planning? Are you sure you're eating what…
  • Thanks, ladies! Meal-planning is so key. Anyone got some good lunch ideas for things I can pack ahead of time? The mornings are so busy, especially since I try to work out in the mornings. I worked out for 45 mins, but then I ran out of time to make lunch. I bought a bag of nuts, but it really isn't enough... sigh. There's…
  • I don't like level 2 either. I find that I typically do a modified (harder) version for Level 1 and I do Level 3 a fair amount, too.
