Friday mini challenge

Today is a double challenge: calf raises and stair stepping with a calf raise on each step. In other words each time you step on a step immediately do a calf raise as part of that step.
I just felt like changing things up a bit to see how challenging it could be. feel free to voice your comments on this challenge and let me know what you think.
Let's see if we can do 200/150 of them.
You can do them any style you want and you have until midnight to get them done.
You can do them all at once or break them into smaller groups.
If you can't do them all then do what you can. The important thing is that you try to do them.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.

Great challenge Charger! I am in!
Bubblesburst80: Everytime you take a step up the stairs do a calf raise. Does that help you?0 -
I'm in! I'll do a few on my breaks at work over in the stairwell.0

thanks crystal_rudolph, i'm up and down them all day, should be attainable...i hope0
-
I'm in! I might be able to do these on my breaks at work0
-
Rudolph is right. Try to incorporate the calf raise into your actual step. Basically would be a one legged calf raise.0
-
Sounds good to me! I will aim for 200-250!
Lets get killer calves today!0 -

Yall do realize that is 200 AND 150 right? You don't have to do them all but it is two separate exercises.0 -

Okay so now I am going to be a little dumb... Each time I take a step up, I do a one leg calf raise. So if I do 200 steps and a calf raise each stair, isn't that 200 stairs AND 200 calf raises? Sorry:happy:0 -
Done! 200 reg calf raises and 150 stair calf raises.
Throwing in the step ones were a great idea! I had no prob with the reg calf raises, the step ones were tougher. Fun! I'm going to try and get in a few more sets of the regular ones...0 -
200 regular, 190 step.
Came close to falling backwards down the stairs a few times, luckily I have a narrow stairway. Gotta work on my balance!

Okay, I did 100 steps and 100 calf raises--all together! (step+calf raise, step+calf raise, and so forth) Fell short of the 200/150, but still felt the burn!!!0
-
Did both exercises!0
-
i did 100 calf raises and 34 stair calf raises and have agitated an inner thigh muscle. So stopped, not entirely sure these were the cause but decided to let my legs have a break until my massage therapist can talk to it let it know that it really should calm back down0

This challenge was calf raises AND the the steps with a calf raise. So if you completed the entire challenge it would be 350 calf raises total and 150 stairs.0 -
I did 250 regular and 150 stair style.
Way to go people, you all did great!!!0 -
Finished!
Did 200 of each. Wasn't anywhere as bad as the push ups yesterday lol.
