Thanks. Yeah, I know spot reduction is impossible, hence the problem. I guess I'll have to really increase the size of my pecs, which is going to be a challenge since I'm a woman...!

I MIGHT have to resort to this. See, I have very little fat around my collar bone/ shoulders/ chest area... My ribs are starting to show through. :( But I'm still super squishy around my belly. First I'm going to lose more fat, then I'm going to build some chest muscle... Hopefully that will cover up the ribs... If it…

5' 1.5" here. I will first get to 120lbs and see. If I still have too much squishiness around my midsection, then I'm gonna have to lose more fat! Kinda scary because I'm getting pretty close, and my waistline is still disproportionately large unless I suck in :(

OP may be worried that the weight loss may slow down after the first 10 pounds, because it's a different kind of weight we're losing. For me, not all pounds are equal. I don't want to lose a single pound of muscle!

If you dropped it in like three days, yeah, that's probably water weight. But don't be discouraged; it's simply the beginning to something wonderful. :flowerforyou:

Who is this lady? She has the kind of body I want (and her frame is similar to mine to boot!).

It's different for everyone. I could not run at 155lbs. I tried it once, ran for THREE minutes, hurt my knee and had to be careful for a week. My right knee has been relatively delicate for years, and it could not handle it. But around 146lbs, I decided to give it a try, and ran almost two miles straight on my first go.…

                Improving.

If you changed your activity setting, there is no need to log the walking separately. The walking is calculated into your lifestyle calories.

I'm in my 20's (not for long though, haha) and this is definitely an issue for me. But I don't feel too bad about it... I just need to lose more fat and put on more muscle, and my nude self WILL be smoking hot! Just gotta stay patient and dedicated

Wooo! That's great! I was never able to cross my legs either, until after I lost some weight. Keep it up and you'll lose those 70 for good! :flowerforyou:

If you really want to focus on your arms on the elliptical, try leaning back slightly and pull the arm handles as hard/fast as you can. You'll be moving the handles/ pedals mostly with your arms, and your legs will be the ones just moving with the flow. You can definitely get a great workout without focusing on your arms…

                Fully agreed!

Thanks for the suggestions! Taking notes

Unless you're spraying sweat all around you or something, you're free to jog shirtless as far as I'm concerned! I don't really care whether you're in great shape or not.

I don't. The only reasons I'd ever delete anyone is: 1) they repeatedly say stuff that bothers me. 2) they post a lot of irrelevant stuff, flooding my newsfeed. I don't really mind people disappearing, even for a long time. On this particular issue, it's only what I SEE that bugs me. What I don't see doesn't bug me.

Cheesecake in some restaurants have 500-ish calories per slice, while in others, it's more like 1100-1200!!!!! The slices look similar in size. How in the world?

 At least they didn't say "perspiring"...

I'm only 5' 1.5" and I am happy with my overall height. I am NOT happy with my leg to torso ratio, however. My legs are so SHORT! Sure, I could "fix" it by wearing super tall high heels, except I can't wear them without tripping all over the place...

 But the dog is female! Uh oh, I think you might've offended the canine lady... And thanks, hoping to have some ab definition by the time the beach season is here! sure thing, sending a friend request now!

No secrets! 1250 net calories (gradually increased from 1000-ish), 110+g protein, 20-30g fiber, some form of fruits/veggies every day (not a whole lot... still working on that). Cardio and weight training, as hard as I could muster. Common sense stuff

Mix some muffin dough. The flour, the egg and the liquid (water/milk) do not mix well at first. It doesn't seem like they're supposed to mix at ALL. None of the ingredients seem to stick together. But you keep going, and before you know it, they start to form a dough. This is how a person changes. Just make sure you don't…

I don't seem to gain any. I know I retain SOME water though, because my lady parts feel uncomfortably tender (painful actually)... But since my weight doesn't seem to be affected, maybe the water from other parts of my body just migrates there?

Healthy cereal (i.e. one that has a decent amount of fiber) + milk + half a scoop of protein powder! As quick as you can get.

Their skinnylicious grilled chicken is delicious and has a huge portion size. If you're into salty foods, you might find it a little bland, but nothing a quick sprinkle of salt wouldn't fix!

New cloth... more of a necessity than celebration, perhaps, but still fun  I do eat treats (some of them QUITE calorie-dense) but not to celebrate anything. I just eat them because I enjoy their taste, and because I've managed to fit them into my plan.

I just did  I don't log my food here (been using something else for it before I joined MFP), but my cardio logs should be viewable to all. Sad thing is, at my highest, I used to look OLDER than my mom! I'm just glad that I finally look my age, more or less. Hoping to look a little younger when I'm at my goal.

Book a professional fitness photoshoot. It's gonna be expensive, so I need to save up!

How does the resurrection thing work? I lost all my lives during two consecutive flus, but have definitely burned more than 5k total calories.
