I guess I didn't make a recommendation. LOL! If you want a quick, challenging, but attainable race I would go with Warrior Dash. If, on the other hand, you are a good long distance runner and have the stamina to go for two or three hours without stopping then Tougher Mudder is for you. It's really up to you. I've had a…

I've done the Warrior Dash, a Sheriff's Mud Run and will be doing a charity mud run next month. I've seen Tougher Mudder and it's exactly that. It's 12 miles compared to a 5K and it has a lot more obstacles which include doing things like moving heavy objects along with obstacle jumps and crawls. I'm hoping to be ready for…

I guess the more accurate thing to say is that by volume muscle is more dense than fat. Thanks all.

Amazing for sure.

I loved the obstacles but a litte advice is to wear old shoes and duct tape them to your feet. In the mud pit you can lose them.

I did a lot of jogging/ running. Plyometrics, running hills and some boxing. It's so much fun! I'm on my third 5K obstacle course this year. They are addicting. The Warrior Dash is a great race and course. People of all ages and fitness levels compete and most finish. It was the first one I ever did and since then I have…

Really? I think I may have an account with your company. ;0) I'm a crime reporter which takes up most of my time, but I'm a pin up photographer on the side. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both things I do.

I live in Victorville and I'm doing the San Bernardino Sheriff's run this Saturday. I did the Warrior Dash in April. If you don't mind having a partner that can't get to you every weekend, I would be happy to message you and we can compare notes and stuff. They are loads of fun!

I don't know how much weight I've lost but I know I have lost. I have also gained muscle and stamina. Dec. 2010 April 2011

I use a weighted rope that I bought a while ago for about $10 and then a regular rope that I found at Big Lots for $5. This is my routine: Jump for 1 minute; Rest for 10 seconds; Sit ups/Crunches/Abwork for 1 minute and repeat at least six times. Sometimes I break it up and do some pushups instead of sit ups or even do…

Looks pretty cool! I think I will have to add it to my at home arsenal. THANKS!!!! BTW, isn't it a jyp that they turned FitTV into Fit and Health and the only exercise shows on the channel is from 3-5 am and it's all Gilad?!?! What the heck!?! All this for the OWN network which only has a handful of original programing?…

Yup, yup! When I've been to festivals people are more interested in staying hydrated and sober.

A definite NSV! That is fabulous!

I like hard music like Rage Against the Machine to get me pumped for a great boxing or MMA workout. When I run I like to listen to some poppy 80s. Something with a grea beat. Fatboy Slim works well here, too. While weightlifting I like to Listen to Alice in Chains. It's got a great sound and slow and powerful.

WONDErFUL!!!!

Gorgeous. With all the technology available to us today, with all the PhotoShop and auto focus and such and these deeply rich and poignant pictures were created at a time when none of that existed. I have to say my favorite is the black Rosie working on the dive bomber. I think people forget about the minorities, including…

A friend of mine, who happens to be a photojournalist, posted this link and I haven't had a chance to look at it. Thanks. I will take a gander now.

It makes m e feel really powerful. Like I can kick some *kitten* and I know I can. I miss my krav maga class, but I hope to make up for it with some boxing. Just got some new hand wraps and gloves. Can't wait to try them out.

Welcome! Add me if you'd like!

I went through a very similar thing. I had actually lost 20 pounds on the scale and was down two pant sizes and even half a show size. Then I went to my doctor and learned I had gained 15!!! WTF!?!?!? But you know what, my clothes are not any tighter. So why? Maybe a combo of things. TOM, steroids I'm on and some muscle…

I've been running and I'm kind of pumped up so this really does describe the way I feel. Angrified, Fight the Power music always helps me get it out of my system. That and some boxing. ;0)
