I'm staring out slow with some 5K obstacle course and they are addicting. I also have asthma so that hinders me a little bit when the weather changes (UGH like now) but I will make it. My next race if for the San Bernardino Sheriff's Mud Run and then a few others.

I said Kim Kardashian but after watching Kristie Ally on DWTS, I think we share the same current shape. LOL! But I think I can pass for a Kardashian...from the waist down, at least.

Since your kids are small use them as weights. Seriously. Pick them up and put them down while doing squats. Trade off between the older and the younger for a few sets of 10. So sqauts with them and squat jumps with the little one. I used to take my kids, put them on my legs and do leg lifts. They loved it, I got a work…

I have some bad*ss shoes, too, but I too them in to a cobbler since it was only a half size. And a lot of my shoes from when I was thinner I held onto so it's like I have brand new shoes again!!!! What's really cool is I stopped wearing heels because with the extra weight I thought it looked really funny. Now I want…

Mine is a soy-based chocolate flavored one. The choco muslce milk is kind of grody, but the vanilla isn't too bad.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Don't wear ugly jeans because they fit, reward yourself with some awesome ones! You deserve it! Congrats to you!

You lost inches and that's what matters. I used to be worried about the number on the scale but now I don't even have one. I now go by the size of pants I'm wearing and how my clothes fit. It can be scary to see the numbers go up, but remember that muscle weighs more than fat and that you have lost inches, that means your…

Hazzah for you! I know that when your attitude changes you see more changes. At least that's the way it goes for me. Keep it up. You are doing great and many times it's the NSVs that keep you going.

Chicken Cranberry salad. Uber easy to make. Take some shredded chicken breast add some dried cranberries, walnuts apples if you'd like, some low-fat mayo, a bit of mustard and some garlic salt and you are done. You can make it into a sandwich or add a scoop to some greens. It tastes really fresh and it's quick and easy to…

My waist. My husband would say my butt, but it's still a work in progress. I hope to one day become friends with my booty again.

I'm in SoCal so it won't work for me, but what a great idea! We should totally try this!

I'd love to participate! I need to get back on track and this will be a great way to do it! Here are my goals: -- Get back into the gym at least four days a week for at least 45 mins -- Eat at least two more servings of fruits and veggies each day -- Get to the point of doing 10 regular push ups (Right now I can do 3-4) I…

There's nothing wrong with losing half a pound in a week. Some people lose at a quicker rate. I know that's about how much I lose every week or so. Take a look at other factors such as medication. I have severe asthma and have to be on oral and inhaled steroids so I don't lose as quickly as others. Celebrate your victories…

My waist has always been smaller than my bottom half, being a pear and all. I started as a size 18. Now I wear a 14-12, but for Easter I decided to buy a dress. It was really cute and vintagy so it had a circular skirt. That one was a size 8! It's the one I'm wearing in my profile pic. It wasn't über tight or anything and…

I'm not by my brother, father, aunts a few uncles and grandmother are. I have learned how to eat like a diabetic, that's for sure. My brother always carries fruit with him and a handful of walnuts. That ususally helps.
