I want to lose as much weight as possible before then but I haven't lost any weight so far.
I really want to look good for this because I know there's going to be loads of glamorously dressed, skinny, beautiful girls there :S
Gaaaahhh
Anybody got any advice?

I go to lots of music festivals, and generally don't see "glamorously" dressed people. Most people are there for the music and good times, not to be seen. lots of shorts, tank top, skirts, and bathing suits Most people dress for comfort and to fight the heat.
I cant offer any advice other than eating right and exercising leading up to the festival.
Music Fest Necesities for me...
Compression/ bike shorts (to fight chaffing
gold bond (more chaffing protection)
camel back (gotta stay hydrated)
SUNSCREEN
lots of fruits and nuts for snack
Have Fun!
shade canopy (if its a fest you camp at)0 -
I agree with him ^... I got to a fair share of music festivals...and trust me nobody is going to be caring if you are 140lbs or 110lbs. I'm not exactly the most in shape person, but that never seems to matter at festivals...that's the beauty of festivals! Lots of love
July 9th? Camp Bisco? Have you ever been there? Not much glamor at Bisco...lots of mud and sweat and dirt and filthhh (and I'm not just talking about the music).
Go have a great time, enjoy yourself, put on lots of sunscreen and dance your *kitten* off!
Maybe I'll see you there!0 -
Yup, yup! When I've been to festivals people are more interested in staying hydrated and sober.0

Ideal summer festival clothes:
- t-shirt (not singlet because you're more likely to get burned that way)
- shorts/skinny jeans (I have awesome ones that roll up or down and button up, which is handy when the temp changes)
- OR an awesome sundress. Just watch out for sunburn. I usually mix this with a big ol' floppy hat which I can toss later if I get sick of it.
- cardigan (light wool which can be stuffed into a tiny bag if needed, or just worn around waist)
- your "cheap" pair of sunnies. I have a free pair of aviators I got at a Cuervo promo night. Heheh.
- COMFY shoes that you don't care too much about. I usually have a pair of Vans that suit this purpose nicely. I call them my festival shoes.Never wear open toe shoes. In fact, boots are great also.
- Don't bring a bag. They are ANNOYING to always worry about. Make use of your pockets.
In short, wear "cool" but "cheap" clothes. You know, the ones you buy at the chain stores that look good for about 5-10 washes. That way you have major fun while not worrying yourself about clothes.0
