That is one of the major victories. I've lost weight in the past but still had the wrong mindset to kuddos to you! We all have our setbacks. That's life but it's what we do to overcome that obstacle that really shows how far we've come! Congrats to you!

I think I was about 200 lbs in my before I'm about 175 in my after. I gained a few pounds but since I started back up I've lost nearly 3 lbs!

Love Supa Ninjas!

I like my gym. Not a lot of waiting but you do hear the grunting coming from the weight room, or as my son calls it, the muscle room.

I'm a crime reporter so lots of time I see what you see and I can very much agree. Heartbreaking some times and hilarious others. One of my favorite crimes was when a train made an emergency stop in our town and in the few hours it was here someone stole 20 cases of frozen pigs' feet. Yup, piggie feeties.

I've thought that loads of times. I'd rather put it on a steep incline and pretend I'm hiking up for a few minutes than spend 30 minutes hanging on and keeping a good chunk of my workout nixed.

Very sultry!

I love it when you do things like this that are fun and exercise! That's how I feel about hiking!

I was going to be named after my aunt, Teodula. Yeah I dodged the bullet on that one. I went to school with a precious. I'm also a crime reporter and I have seen some strange ones including Ebn, Shimmer, Akeelies (groan) and Atreybion.

ME! ME! ME! I have HORRIBLE asthma. I had both lungs collapse back in 2007, less than two months after my youngest was born and i feel ya. All I can tell you is that it gets better. I used to huff and puff and suck on my inhaler after 5 minutes, but now I'm able to run 5K mud runs! I still have issues with attacks and…

You do have to have some, but nothing extraordinary. I will try to post some of my pics from different runs I've done.

You can run/walk it. I did for part of some courses and yes, there are obstacles that require some upper body strenght, but don't be scared! If my big booty can do it, you can do it!

YOu will have a blast! Just a word of caution: They're addicting. I guess that's two words. LOL!

WOW! Tougher Mudder! You are an ANIMAL! LOL! Way to go to all you mudders!

Nope. I was hitting the gym six times a week each time I got pregnant. Once I did, I just increased some of my iron and protein because I hate taking supplements.

Horrible! It's a travesty what parents will do to their children. I've seen it. It turns your stomach. God bless this little one. Her suffering is over now.

EEEEK! I love Don Knotts! What's MeTV? I gotta find it!!!

I make sure to bring a healthy item so if everything there is calorie-heavy, I can eat my own dish. I also try to talk to some of the people beforehand to see what they are bringing. Sometimes we're able to coordinate healthy foodies. Just take a look what's there. Many time people bring food and veggie plates that you can…

Without even knowing I completed this challenge. I went to boxing and part of it is jumping jacks for one minute, sit ups for one minute and push ups for one minute. I did four sets of that circuit! Add to that the actual boxing and I'm pretty pleased! BTW, that turned out to be about 250 jumping jacks. Woohoo!!!!

I started out with 1200 before exercise and saw some results but not much. I just spoke to my doctor a few days ago and showed her what I was eating and she said I wasn't eating enough for a) my job which has me out in the field nearly every day or b) the workouts I'm doing which consist of real boxing, not aerobic boxing,…

Way to go!!!!

OK, I'm motivated by theese! AMAZING results!

I'm in the same boat. I started today by going back to boxing. Great total-kbody workout! I hope to lose some inches for Chistmas party I've been invited to. But I think today is a great day to start the resolutions!

Aewsome advice. I will try this. Those are also my problem areas. Thanks for the post and reply!

Many times we think that by changing our outward appearance, that's all we need to have our lives sync, but what really needs to change is our feelings toward ourselves. It's much harder to change one's feelings and attitude toward ourselves than our bodies. You are a beautiful woman but it doesn't matter how many times…

You can make a DELISHOUS soup. Sautee some Italian chicken sausage with some onions and garlic in olive oil. Add some chickens stock and some thinly sliced potatoes. Garlic salt to tast and some crushed red chili flake. At the last minute add the kale. Cook it for less than a minute as you still want to ti keep that…

I've done several obstacle races trying to work my way up to Tougher Mudder. Here in SoCal it's 12 miles! I am lucky because I live in a rural area which allows me to scramble over hills, into gullies and across trails. Cross training really helps as well as going out on the trails for jogs. If you get a chance to do some…
