I like cucumber sandwiches (small pieces of rye bread, spread with a mixture of dill weed, light sour cream, plain greek yogurt, topped with a cucumber slice, salted and peppered). Serve baby bell wedges with yummy low cal crackers and grapes. Chocolate dipped strawberries. Ricotta stuffed grape tomatoes. Crab stuffed…

I agree about using pan spray instead of oil. Also, I wouldn't use canned Ro-tel tomatoes, but instead I would use fresh tomatoes and jalapenos. I'd also use reduced fat cheese, cutting the portion in half. Instead of the heavy cream, I would use fat free cream cheese. Sounds like you have in mind how to cut the meat…

Have you seen the Salads in a jar? http://www.eatingbirdfood.com/2012/07/quick-and-easy-lunch-idea-salad-in-a-jar/ They keep really well and the possibilities are endless! Boiled eggs are great. Also try adding some nuts or Peanut butter to your intake (protein and long lasting!) Good luck to you! Sorry your housing…

I do P90X 6 days per week in my living room. (I'm currently on week 5). On days that I do P90X strength, I will walk/run on my treadmill, too. I started off with just a minute or two at a time, but now I'm doing up to 40 minutes running without stopping. I always take a day between runs, which works with P90X. Thursday are…

All my answers were taken, except don't forget to do appropriate stretching prior to running. www.runnersworld.com has a lot of great stretch ideas for different areas. I would strongly suggest reading up and practicing stretching before running! :)

This isn't about dieting...diets don't work. As soon as you quit, the weight comes back. It's about changing the way you do things: eating healthier foods, non-processed foods, no fast foods, no soda, and it's about being active--every day! You can do this! without the "diet" element!

Don't do the surgery. You are young (thank God for elasticity in your skin!) Start working hard! You could probably drop that 40 pounds in no time by working hard and eating right. I'm sure it's daunting to think about losing weight, but look at all the success stories here...you can do this! Surgery is a permanent…

Panko coated, anything helps with fried cravings. Seriously. I love boneless buffalo chicken. So I started doing 4 oz of boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces, coated with panko and baked about 10 minutes on each side then I spoon buffalo sauce over the pieces and bake again for another 10-15…

Over cooked okra=snot. Make sure you're cooking it (in whatever recipe you try) al dente. My preferred okra intake is via Gumbo. But it's added in only at the end! What about trying a "fried" alternative? Dip the okra pieces into well seasoned panko bread crumbs and bake just until crispy on the outide?

I love to cook! My favorite recipe is banana brownies low calorie, perfect for the chocolate craving) or my refried bean hummus (great for mexcian food cravings). Worst: Greek yogurt frosted cupcakes (too many processed foods).

So here you are, already on MFP. Go enter your breakfast. Eat what you want and log it. Do something physical--go for a run/walk, take a shower. Clear your head. Breathe. You have done so well. Today is just like other bad days we have: don't feel like doing the laundry, going to work, etc. But we do it.
