Fish oil effects on weight loss are accelerated greatly when paired with L-Carnitine (unsure of spelling), which is an amino acid that has a plethora of benefits. Its supposed to be taken at a 5 to 1 ratio, so if you take 20g of fish oil, you would take 4g of L-Carnitine.

Yes, this a great low cost supplement. I take it also. :)

sounds like you got the ratios down! My breakfast is much, much worse! :)

I love fats! hahaha But I do intake quite a bit of protein with them. I'm a low carb person so fats and proteins help me maintain my weight better than a low fat, high carb diet. Of course, I know this isn't for everyone. :)

You look fine! hahaha Actually, you look "Sweet!" ;)

Forgot to add that I do cardio and lift weights for an hour a day. My weight is 132. My caloric intake is ranges from 1,700 to 1,900 per day.

I'm usually 50 to 75 grams below my sugar level but always eat close to twice as much protein and fats as my diet calls for. I find that when I eat high fatty proteins and 1/2 of a normal serving of carbs (for example 1/4 cup of oats with butter instead of 1/2 cup oats with sweetner and berries), I do not crave sweets and…

Hey, it's all about the "keep on keepin' on!" :) There is always tomorrow. :)

I love all high fats and proteins! lol I eat 85 to 90 percent lean beef most of the time, and chicken thighs instead of breasts. I do eat low carb though. I find when I eat high purine proteins that are cooked in good fats like coconut, olive, sesame or avocado oils, I do not at all crave carbs and I am not hungry.

There have been several studies done that show smaller meals do play a role in higher calorie burning. However, some are right that the bottom line is that taking in a lower amount of calories per day than you burn does help you to loose weight. The problem is, though, when you eat three bigger meals, your body tends to…

I do different breakfasts: 1. oats with various types of protein powder-chocolate or vanilla...If I use chocolate, I add pecans. If I use vanilla, I add walnuts. 2. 2 poached eggs with 1/2 cup of oats cooked in cup of unsweetened almond milk with organic butter and 1/2 tbsp of Ideal brown sugar 3. Protein pancakes-several…

I'm 5'6" and I want to be 125. Weighing less than that, IMO, would cause me to have eat in a very low calorie range, which I don't like the way that feels. But hey, everyone is different, so my advice is shoot for a weight that allows for you to be in a "good mood." :) Just sayin :)

My smoke alarm recently stopped working even when I installed a new battery. Perhaps it's time to call the fire-department to request a smokin-hot firefighter to replace it??? :flowerforyou:

I have five minutes to make breakfast! ...eggs on toast, wrap in a napkin and go! Maybe I need to get up earlier? lol

I'm so sorry, but it does sound like you need to see a doctor.

I have different ways to make it too. :) Always seems that oats get boring, but they are so good for you and cheap! :) I do sometimes use a natural brown sugar substitute, called xylitol, with some walnuts and cinnamon. Other days, I use chocolate whey protein powder, but if I make it this way, I boil the oats with…

I love chocolate milk, but cannot seem to tolerate the lactose so I've always done whey protein with 1/4 cup of oats and 1 cup of almond milk...
