I cried over the "I've fallen and I can't get up" commercial. I'm my defense I was on bed rest because I had fallen and broke my ankle. In not my defense I was 26, not 86...

Applesauce for oil in breads/muffins. Fewer calories and it makes it really moist, however i have found you can only substitute for 1/2 of the cooking oil or the texture gets thrown off.

I hope more people actually check in this week... I'm at 163.7, a 0.4 lb loss. Not great but seeing as I was at 168 yesterday, because of way too much pizza/sodium on Saturday I'll take it. Good Luck to everybody.

I'm not sure if this is going on still. I'll glad keep doing weekly check ins if anybody still wants. I'm at 164.1 a 1.1 lb loss from last week.

I weight at night just so I can see how much less I weigh the next morning from water weight loss. Honestly, the next morning I am at least 1.2 lbs lighter. 1.8 to 2 lbs less is the most typical. If it freaks you out just weigh in the morning.

165.2 a .4 loss, but I'm ok with it seeing as its been my first week back at college.
-
Sorry for being late...moving and no internet. but 165.6. Woot! edited to add that was monday's measurement and 2.2 lb lost!

Ok, Going by the 3,500 calories is one lb you ate less than a one pound increase in the day. If you take your goal from that you are less than .3 of a lb increase. Honestly you will probably have a a bit of a spike in weight from water retention from all the sodium. So drink a lot of water today. Maybe add an extra half…

I've biked to work all summer a 50-60 minute round trip 4 times a week. I've lost about 15 lbs using that as more than half my cardio so as long as you're eating right you should do great. Its amazing how good it makes your legs look especially if you change the gears to a higher resistance as you start adapting. Have fun,…

Bump...nobody? anybody? My curiosity must be assuaged.

General rule of thumb is it takes a 7-10% change in body weight for those who see you frequently to notice. Those who see you less frequently will notice sooner because there wasn't a gradual shift. But, that's just a general thing.

For non-physical things I read a book or take a shower. I think my record for showers is 17 in a week...also spending time with my dog. Its hard to be angry when cuddling with something cute. Sometimes I need a physical release and for that I pitch. My catcher hates me for that one though.

I used to not eat breakfast because it made me feel nauseated the rest of the day. I found that it was fine to skip it as long as I drank something otherwise dehydration would give me a headache... So have a glass of water when you wake up or maybe a glass of milk and coffee if you feel you need calories. But as long as you…

167.8 a 0.8 lb lost. I knew my 2.0 lb a week wasn't likely sustainable (seeing as I am only eating at a 1.3 ln/week deficit) but I was really hoping.... Keep up the great work everybody

I read the first 3 books, then decided it wasn't worth my time to read the final one. I applaud you for actually reading the books before deciding you don't like them. It pisses me off when people bash it without having taken the time to read it and develop their own opinions. I personally thought it was boring and…

Last time I got drunk I made out with one of my best guy friends...who has a girlfriend... in their bed... So no more drinks for a while until I learn self control. That being said I go to school in Wisconsin, so it will probably only another month of no drinks for me

168.6...a 2.0 lb loss, though some of it may be artificial because I cut of 8 inches of hair...

Padan Fain from Wheel of Time. His brand of crazy and unpredictability keeps everything interesting. The sheer unadulterated evil makes him so easy to hate but it is so fascinating....

Congrats on your transplant! but a word of caution, make sure you consult your doctor before you start an intensive exercise program or diet. My older sister had a transplant a year ago and the doctor said no exercise machines, running or gym membership etc. She can essentially go for nice walks. But good luck and congrats

Hah, I wasn't saying biking shouldn't count. I like succeeding :) I've biked 5 miles today and will bike another 5 to get home from work! I also took the dog for a mile walk. I think personally I will try to get 10 non-biking miles in... Good luck everybody! I hope to see other people's achievements; it's really motivating.
-
Well, I walked a mile this morning with the dog. I feel I may have an unfair advantage if biking is included because I bike 10 miles a day 3-4x a week (weather dependent) because I bike to and from work. I hate paying 4 dollars a day for parking.

For level one I do 15 lbs for chest flys, rows, and bicep curls/lunges and 7 lbs for everything else. I recommend using 2 different size weights if you find some exercises significantly easier than others.

Cold Quinoa Salad- Its a pretty flexible recipe in my mind, I adjust the quantities based on what I have on hand 1 Cup uncooked Quinoa 1 onion 1-2 sweet peppers 1 tomato 1 tsp ginger (fresh or paste...NOT DRIED) 1 tsp garlic (optional depending on preference) 1-2 cup spinach or other leafy green veggie (can be left out)…

I use 15lbs for some (chest fly, curls, and rows) and 7 lbs for the others, but I'm not doing it consistently, more like once or twice a quick workout when I don't have time. Oh and I do level 1

My freshman year I gained about 7 lbs of muscle by starting strength training, I lost inches though...if you don't already do that start some lifting most colleges have a semi-decent weight room and lots of helpful people. Another thing is walk or ride your bike everywhere.Once I started drinking that was the biggest…
