I am addicted to Fage Cherry yogurt! I gotta have it! I like it straight out of the carton or with a sliced banana and a 1/4 cup of walnuts stirred in! I love the texture and the flavor of the cherry!

Trader Joes has really good Pineapple Salsa and Peach Salsa, the best ever! Also, try Whole Foods.

I'm a nurse, I work 10 hours, usually start my day @ 0500, but I think nursing is a "health sabotage". I've noticed that most nurses eat anything, "when they can"... I lost 17 lbs doing this last summer, injured my knee and lost my way, so I'm back; just started this week! (I've gained 5 of the 17 lbs back) The most…

Use the internet to look up high protien recipes, my MD recently put me on a diet that requires me to consum 25 grams of protien per meal or 75-77 grams per day. So, I looked on the internet and found simple recipes, for b-fast, lunch, dinner and snacks, it is really helpful. Think simple, easy and if you plan weekly it is…

I would like to suggest to try and forget the #'s on the scale and refocus your efforts on being healthy. Do you realize that what you are doing is excellent for your health today and the future? You are setting a wonderful example for your children, family and friends. I try to think every morning about my daily "health"…

There is a Weight Watcher recipe where you take a cake mix, like spice cake and mix in 1 & 1/2 cups of applesauce and it makes really yummy muffins, I don't know the calories but I remember one muffin was 3 points. I bet you could substitue any cake mix. You would probably have to wing it on the icing though, use splenda…

Are you drinking enough water? Also, w/ L/B can you take fiber? Kashi go lean has 10 grams of fiber for a small bowl. I haven't had a L/B but I have know others who have and I am a RN, so I was just interested in your post.

Very well said. I think you are right on. It is as individual as a fingerprint. Each of us has our own "clicker", hopefully some epiphany and or realization that a change needs to occur and that we are the "driver" of that change; only then will the changes involved almost seem "easy". But until that "click" happens it is…

Blend it in the blender with roasted or any kind of garlic, pepper, Mrs. Dash or even a package of Ranch Then dip veggies in it, like red, yellow and green peppers, jicama, carrotts, celery, radishes, sweet peas, or anything else you would like to dip. Very good. My mom makes it for parties...

Well said, it seems to be all about her being fat! If she had been cute as a button and charmed the usher who moved her and her friend up to "better" seats there wouldn't have been a discussion.... Prejudice is when we generalize, all fat people are bad, lazy, ugly and deserve to stay home.

Very well said! Focus on a solution rather than the problem. The problem belongs to the individual and I'm sure she did not really feel "rewarded" for her obesity.
