I have mixed feelings about hunting. I do not understand the joy in it, but I would much rather have my meat come from a dear that lived free its entire life than from a factory farm. And shame on the people who say they wouldn't eat meat if they had to kill it themselves. That animal was probably treated much more…

1) I love my pit bulls too and your profile pic is awsome 2) I think that in some cases, people feel more free to joke around about weight when you aren't as obviously obese. Does that make sense? It is like they assume that since you look more normal, you won't take them too seriously. As far as I know, a 250 lb male is…

Protein powder, Protein bars, and eggs are good sources of protein.

No....Most people responding understand that. Netting 800 is still too few for a majority of the population. Seeing as how you never gave any statistics about yourself, it is assumed that you fit into this majority. I am not saying that you should take advice from strangers on the internet, but maybe you could do some…

I would try revamping your diet. Eat about 1500 calories a day, get AT LEAST 5 servings of veggies (not corn or potatos and not all carrots), and try to walk for at least 30 minutes most days. The walks can be fun family time and you can take kids to local stores or parks.

Logic fail.... I don't clense and I am not dead. Obviously I am evidence that it doesn't work

You have the right to ask and they have the right to ignore you.

I thought about that while writing the comment. While I do feel that obesity is mostly a choice(There was a huge thread about this a few weeks ago), I feel that shaving off a Hitler mustache is a much easier choice to reverse, therefore fair game for me to laugh at. In my own warped logic, while I will not laugh at someone…

I see no problem making fun of Hitler (I love me some South Park) nor do I see a problem making fun of fat people doing stupid things (see most of the People of Walmart website). However I feel that this is mostly making fun of someone for having stupid facial hair and for being fat. So in my opinion, not funny.

They kind of exist, however because MFP already includes calories for chewing and digestion in your daily allowance, they do not work in relation to this program.

What they said was that you were doing nothing to "cleanse" your body and wasting money on the drops. Eating clean would give you more energy and eating a deficit would help you lose weight. No drops needed

I have burn goals, but they are small and attainable. I try for three days of 300 calories burned and three days of 400 calories. I do some heavy lifting, and that is really hard to estimate calories burned from, so I am really not sure what is being burned. I just go by mfp estimates for weights and use my HRM for any…

Whenever anyone tries a sales pitch on me I just say "No, but thank you for asking" My friends think I am crazy, but I remember the pressure to sell a credit card with a ginormous interest rate. The thank you almost always stops the sales pitch without sounding curt or mean. I liked the discounts and first pick at…

Thanks for offering your advice. My stats: 177lbs, 30% body fat, 5’7”, 25 years old I have been focusing on weights recently and I am loving the results. I plan on slowly loosing another 25-30 lbs, but am in no rush. Right now I lift heavy 3 times per week (stronglifts 5x5), small amounts of cardio after lifting (20…

The C25K is a good program. Another option is to get a HRM and run until your HR is at 80-85% of max. Then walk until your HR is about 50-60% of max and repeat for 30-40 minutes. The running times will get longer as your heart becomes more efficient.

Two rescue pit bulls :-) I try to take them for four mile long walks about three times a week (and generally assume 100 calories per mile). However, they do ok without daily walks and I have a good sized yard for them to play in.

What about girls that don't workout but walk around looking ugly.

What kind of makeup are you wearing that makes your hand all greasy? I never wash my makeup off after work and I have never had mascara running down my face or foundation peeling off in clumps. To clarify I sweat A LOT (as in it is dripping on the floor during rows and the fron of my shirt is mostly soaked through) and…

For the past year I have been underestimating the calories in salmon.....Just found that out this week :-/ Happens to the best of us. Still lost 40lbs though!

I think I look pretty good at the gym....the sweat really makes my collar and cheek bones stand out and I look thiner :-) (The yoga pants help :-P)

I am addicted to food. I think about it constantly and I never get full. However, I can live with and manage my addiction. I don't think it will every leave me, but I accept that this will be a lifelong commitment. I consider myself gifted in many respects (looks, smarts, finances, etc.) so I just consider this a small but…
