If you're going to do it, reading the book will help you understand their ideas. It's basically a no-white diet, but with the option to occassionally cheat. My husband does it, and he loves it. But you should also know that for people trying to lose weight, it does not have as high a success rate as other programs.

When I make meatloaf, I add diced tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers, along with the spices, egg, and some ground up oatmeal to help hold everything together. You just mix it all up in a big bowl, then put it in the loaf/casserole pan to bake. Yum!

I plan out my whole day, snacks included. That way, when I get hungry, I already have something planned to much on. Usually it's nuts or a piece of fruit, but having go to healthy snacks helps.
