You will see a specialist and they can do an ultrasound on your leg to see if your issues are just superficial spider veins or actual varicose veins. Either way, it’s considered cosmetic. Some insurance covers stockings. Sclerotherapy for spider veins and smaller varicose veins is around $100 but you have to wear support…

I've noticed my weight fluctuates by up to 3 lbs throughout the day and is up and down all week. How do you record your weight on here then!? I hate recording a weight and then having it go up the next day and and not come back down for another week!

Hey! I’m looking for a few new friends for inspiration 😬 so add me if you want. I work out 5 days a week, it I really need to work on my nutrition. I have an open diary and I log in every day. P.S. I’m Canadian, but I lived in NSW for 2 years while my husband was at uni. We miss Australia and hope to visit one day soon.

I try not to eat most of my workout calories during the week so I can splurge. Little on the weekends. I would rather do that then have to resist the trip to the beach for ice cream or a beer and hotdog at the baseball game. Look at the big picture and plan accordingly.

I use light 5% cream. 10 calories/tbsp. Thinking about trying the cashew milk now though due to this thread.

I get this too, and it’s seems my poor teen daughter has inherited this from me. Seems like it’s from exertion/over heating. It’s worse, the worse shape I’m in. As I get more conditioned, the less likely I am to get a migraine. I read that making sure you’re really hydrated before, during and after your workout is…

Thank you! No, I definitely want to eat more than 1200 a day! I thought setting my MFP goal to sedentary would be more accurate when Fitbit is recording my actual activity. What should I set it at if I only average about 6000 steps/ day, workout 5 times /week for 39 minutes (kettle bell/circuit)? I would love to have a…

Thank you for the summary- I have read it and I still have a question I'm hoping you can help me out with. MFP sets my calories at 1200 (sedentary). If I burn between 1600 and 2200 per day according to my Fitbit (not hr) do I just subtract 500 from my daily average to determine how much I should be eating? Thank you!

Halloween is a big problem for me too! I always eat too many of the chocolate bars that we are giving out and I usually dig into my kids bags while they're at school too! So much so, that they've learned they have to find a really good hiding spot before they leave or they will come home to a lot less candy!

OMG How I miss the Tim Tams!! I'm Canadian, but lived in Australia for 2 years- where I ate my weight in Tim Tams. Lol

I agree that this is part of why people have this reaction, along with it being a backhanded compliment, like 'you're just fine the way you are, you don't have to lose more weight.'
