Someone who hasn't seen me since February of 2014 had to do a double take when they saw me today in the supermarket! They couldn't believe how much weight I have lost. Makes you feel good.

I was born and raised in Philly. Spent 30 years working in Christian radio all over the United States. Currently I pastor a church in Abilene, KS (home of President Eisenhower). Thank God the weather is about to change. Should be in the 70's starting tomorrow.

Thanks @newmeadow for the link that shows how to make lard and cracklins. I will definitely try that. I live in a small Kansas town but the local supermarket will save pork fat for you, if you just ask for it.

Check out The Blue Moose. There are several locations in the Kansas City area. They have some low carb options on the menu. I actually like going to Logan's and getting their 20 ounce bone in Ribeye steak. They also have a bone in Porterhouse steak. You can't go wrong with steak.

I stalled for 4 months until I dropped my carbs to less than 20 grams daily. Since then I have lost 15 pounds.

I gave up sugar last year and this year I gave up AS and stevia. No longer do I have a sweet tooth!

Nuts are my kryptonite. I have a hard time eating just one serving, so I don't eat them often.
