I did check this out and know that it is not something I will be able to do. I sprained and fractured a bone in my wrist over a year ago and find that I still have weakness in that wrist. As I lose weight the extra weight on my wrist isn't as bad but not comforatble putting that much pressure on it until I lose another…

off to do 25 more toe touches...LOL and 8 miles on the bike, I don't feel like walking tonight. oh..oh..oh....I forgot! I did 50 crunches too! I may not get to 500 this week but I'm going to do as many as I can anyway

I think you should both stay on the team. :) I have a questions about the toe touches....is it 25 each side? Oh and a NSV....the squat kicks were so much easier this week than they were on Day 1. I found I can get deeper into the squat. Now burpees (modified)...blech! It is hard work to get this body veritcal from a…

I don't know if it would qualify as heavy cardio but what about rowing?

This is your life and only you can live it, do what you dream of.

I gained 1.8lbs this week. I suspect it is because I still have 3 days worth of food in my gut. My fiber intake is good but I can't seem to keep things "moving". Any suggestions? I'm drinking at least 64oz of water each day, some days 80 oz.

Funny that I have been doing this for 3 months and the only exercise that I plan is walking 3 times a week for at least a 1/2 mile. I don't even have the days picked out. This challenge is teaching me what type of things to do to get in better shape. I don't know why I didn't think of doing basic calesthenics, awesome…

Hey Becca, I'm so thankful you thought of me for this challenge. It was EXACTLY what I needed to get me out of my incresingly lazy tendencies again. Really glad to be a part of this tribe  I'm already looking forward to October...LOL  Tomorrow I focus on making up the rest of the exercises that I missed this…

I don't know which I hate more.....bear walk or burpees...LOL. If you look at his blog, he gives us a modification for the burpees(thank goodness!) 500 crunches over the course of 6 days....UGH 83 per day minimum:noway: Well, I won't be able to say I don't have a strong core after next week

Thanks for sharing :) My DVD just came in the mail today. I think I will start it on October 1, not quite ready for it yet.

First of all, Kudos to you for logging it to be accountable to yourself and your MFP Family. Drink lots of water to help with the sodium. One bad day is not going to make you gain back a bunch of weight. Work out like normal. What is done is done, stop beating yourself up and let it go. Get back on track today. :O)

I posted my starting weight this morning. If it didn't go through please let me know :) Since I weigh myself first thing in the morning, I am planning on doing my End Weight on Sunday mornings. Is this ok? *edited* nevermind...duh, I re-read the post...sorry. :blushing:

You should not net less than 1200 calories per day. Have a spoonfull of peanut butter (if you like and and aren't allergic), there is a calorie boost for ya :)

Check out this site, it explains why crunches are better than sit ups. http://www.twohundredsitups.com/what.html

Losing weight without any strength training could mean you are burning muscle and not all fat. If you don't want to be "skinny fat" you should incorporate some strength to keep your muscles toned.

I wouldn't necessarily say it is a privilege of the rich. I do agree that it is more expensive to eat healthy. It has been very difficult for me over the past month being the only income in the household to feed 4 people (2 adults and 2 teens) in a healthy way. We haven't eaten out or spent money on other snacks and stuff,…

Maybe he thought you look fabulous before you lost the weight and didn't want to seem shallow to compliment on your weight loss. Congrats on losing weight, keep up the great work.

There is usually a nutrition information tag on cakes, it should tell you. If not they might have the information in the bakery.
