  • Thank you. I have the Blaze but don't ever remember to start the bike mode.
  • Oh no, I'm not wanting to manually track all my steps for the entire day just those while walking on the treadmill. That will allow me to manually enter that time as a workout vs FitBit counting as normal steps. I will post in the FitBit groups to see how others handle. Thanks for the suggestion.
  • It's crazy to see less when your steps are almost doubled. Wondering if it would be better to remove my Fitbit and have it not sync to MFP. That would allow me to manually add my exercising and would probably give me a more accurate number.
  • Thank you!!
  • Down 15lbs from my start weight. SW 242.2 CW 226.4 GW 182.6.(JAN goal)
  • I just started reading the book and doing the workbook. Add me.
  • I just joined this group after purchaseing the book and workbook.
  • I just purchased the beck diet solution book, audio cd's, and workbook. So far loving the audio cd's.
  • I had a reduction 10 years ago and it was by far the BEST thing I have ever done for myself!!!
  • That's how I felt....doped!!!!
  • I've had great results with phen in the past but have never followed through to Maintenance. At one point I did take phen & Topamax but HATED the Topamax! Don't get me wrong the med worked but it also made me feel stupid. I couldn't remember simple things, felt completely drugged and in a fog. The only side effect I have…
  • I've had the M5 for several months now. Gave up after a few tries. Got back on it this week and could only go 3 mins and I had to stop several times. I have been very inactive and this machine is quite the work out. I am looking forward to getting in the full 15 - 30 min workout.

  • I started phen on July 12th and I'm down 10#s so far. I'm sure lots of water weight but it feels good and has motivated me to start exercising. Focusing on what and how much I eat has been eye opening but also empowering. I feel in control. Plus, it has been easier to say no and choose not to eat things that will trigger a…
  • Hi all. I started taking Phentermine on July 12th. Had very good success with it many years ago but completely stopped eating right and I regained all the weight plus more. Looking for support since most of MFP hates on this drug.
  • I agree with ekz13. Your fitness goal should be for you and not them. Instead of allowing them to bring you down and get you off track, use their negativity as motivation by proving them wrong. You can do anything you set your mind to, you just have to believe in yourself.
  • Weekends are worse for me. Busy family life has us running the roads most weekends and/or spending all day on the ball field. Those busy days usually lead to eating out. I try to make the best selection possible but I get tired of salads, so I opt for kiddie meals. Replace the fries with the fruit and replace the drink…
  • Add me. I sure can use some motivation. Eating good, most of the time but I log everything good or bad. I'm having a hard time getting started with exercising.
  • I agree with everything ryanhorn said. Get help. Both a therapist and a nutritionist. You want to be healthy not only for yourself but for your child. Step back, take a deep breath, count to ten, look at your beautiful child, and focus. You & your son are the two most important people in your life now. You can do this with…
  • I will definitely post an update. I had no idea so many people were affected by BED until I was diagnosed and began doing research.

  • I'm 40 and have 80lbs to lose. I have lost 10lbs so far by reducing calories and drinking tons of water. Trying my best to stay away from sweet tea and sweets (my weakness). So far I've done really good. I love to walk outside on my lunch break but it has been cold here and I haven't had the chance. Looking forward to…
  • I didn't eat the Shipley donuts brought into work this morning or the King Cake brought in yesterday!
  • I took it last year for 5 months and lost 50 lbs. At that time, you could only take it for 6 months with monthly visits to discuss your eating/exercising and then had to be off for 6 months. I was able to maintain the loss until this year. I began sabotage my eating until I completely forgot everything I learned. I knew…
