  • I'm nursing my daughter, so it's definitely helping me get back down!
  • Mine are 6, 2 and 6 mo.
  • Totally in this mom group! :D I'm a mom of 3 working full time.. trying to lose 20-30 lbs by the end of the year.
  • WOW!! Everyone. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of you are amazing. Way to go!
  • KU-DOS. You look great. I'm also IF 16:8 and loving it! 30# down in about 2 months and 20 to go!
  • Great job! Your hard work is definitely showing. Keep it up! I had my second child in 2014 and spent about 12 months tracking in MFP religiously getting back to PRE-PREBABY weight of 145ish - a weight I hadn't been at since 2010. In 2016, I got pregnant again and after my maternity leave, still sat at over 200lbs.…
  • Although I've been a little lax lately, I was maintaining 30 or so g of carbs for about 2 months while exclusively breastfeeding my baby. Since March 1, I've now lost nearly 30lbs just by following LCHF, intermittent fasting (basically not eating breakfast or after about 8pm) and breastfeeding. I've slowed on my loss and…

  • I'm nursing my 6 month old. :) Trying to get back to my goal weight by mid-Sept. I'm more than halfway there, but now I need to introduce some exercise to meet it! EEK!
  • Great loss! Keep it up! I'll add you as a friend. I'm planning on continuing the IF - I've gotten amazing results so far!
  • I have, actually!! 20lbs! That's prob not typical. I'm nursing a 5 month old and type 1 diabetic, so keto is helping me drop my insulin requirements tremendously, which helps facilitate the loss.. plus a baby pulls about 500cals per day nursing, it's like a workout in itself!

  • I love it, CRZYFTM! :) I'm pretty amazed what low carb/keto can do!
  • You look great, Melissa! I know hypoglycemia well as a type 1 diabetic! No fun!
  • Zucchini and summer squash are some of my faves as long as they aren't mushy!
  • I agree, my4andme333! It's amazing to see what everyone can do when you have motivation and consistency!
  • Eggs n greens is probably one of my faves. I practice 16:8 IF, so my "breakfast" is mid-day. It doesn't keep me from enjoying breakfast foods! :)
  • I've been at it for about 4 weeks and I'm loving it. I tend to do simple - a protein, fat and tons of veg. I've not really done any "recipes" per se.

  • Hey! I've now been low carb since March 1 and I have had great results! This is probably not typical of low carb alone. During the 4 weeks, I practiced 16:8 intermittent fasting, I did Keto 10:35:65(c:p:f) and kept my calories around 1500. I'm exclusively nursing a 4mo old and am type 1 diabetic, so eating this way has…
  • Okay.. verdict is in! Here's how I did! Also included a photo. Starting weight March 7: 196 March 14: 189 March 21: 186 March 28: 181 This is probably not typical of IF alone. During the 3 weeks, I also did Keto 10:35:65(c:p:f) and kept my calories around 1500. I'm exclusively nursing a 4mo old and am type 1 diabetic, so…
  • Been IF 16:8 +/- an hour for about 2 whole weeks along with keto and loving it! I'm excited to see what another week looks like! My goal is to be back to 150 by my birthday in September! It has been written and so it shall be done! :D Baby weight be gone! Starting weight March 7: 196 March 14: 189 March 21: 186
  • Right.. I understand zone vs keto macro percentages. I WAS doing zone macros, now doing keto macros - 10c:25p:65f.
  • ^^^correcting the above. I've now been IF for about 2 wks
  • Okay.. so a little over a week ago I had said the below.. here I am now, a little over a week into IF and down another 7lbs as of today. This totals 13lbs in about 2 weeks, pretty much effortlessly. I switched over to strictly keto from my "zone" macros. I'm sometimes IF 16:8, sometimes 18:6, depending on when I eat lunch.…
  • I've been doing 16/8 IF now for an entire week without really knowing that's what I was doing! Now that I know the term and the benefits, I'm in! I'm tracking calorie intake and I'm about at 1300 or so cal/day on a goal of zone ratio 30p/30c/40f. I dropped a little over 5lbs in the first week, but I'm going to guess most…
  • I'm type 1 diabetic and think keto/low carb would help me to keep my blood sugars more steady, keep me from gaining weight, and bring my insulin resistance down/sensitivity up. I've just started on this adventure and I'm pregnant now with my 3rd child. I gained 60(!!) lbs with my last pregnancy due to higher carb intake…
  • I'm nearly done nursing my nearly 2 yr old. He nurses to sleep on weekdays and for naps on weekends, but that's it. I'm 4 months pregnant now with my 3rd and I'm T1 diabetic. I've never had issues keeping blood sugar in check, but I don't like the ups and downs and trying to keep insulin resistance from creeping up…
