Scales tend to be affected by gravity and temperature. Maybe you measured yourself full on one day and empty on the other? If not then take 3 measurements on different days and compare if you see a huge difference.

My pet fish once jumped out of his water cup (I was doing a water change in the main tank). I just heard a plop sound while I was watching tv and I checked it out and he was on the floor.
