Work is not exercise, especially if you are just standing in one place. That's daily activity. Exercise raises your heart rate for a prolonged period. You MOVE. If you really want an accurate count of your burn thoughout a 24-hour period, get a Body Media. It's more accurate than a FitBit because the FitBit only estimates…

If you want to stay satisfied all day, have protein with every meal and snack. Protein keeps us satisfied the longest, then fat, and finally bringing up the rear carbs are the least so you whole wheat is doing nothing on the satiety issue.
-
Its a combination of sodium and carbs. For every gram of carbs your body stores 4 grams of water and then the sodium adds water, too.
-
I've found the BodyMedia to be more accurate in calorie burn for the day than the FitBit. The FitBit is a glorified pedometer. Cheap activity models are not accurate so get the best you can afford.

A stall is when you weight doesn't move for at least 4 weeks - no change,. So you can't be stalled after 5 days. You lost a lot of water and now the real weight loss is beginning,.Excercise gives you energy and if you don't exercise while losing weight you will lose muscle along with fat and not be toned. Add 30 minutes of…

It can take up to 7 days for an "indiscretion" to show up on the scale.
-
It's not a lack of determination, is making choices that don't support you goal to lose weight.
-
Its how many grams of each you are to consume each day. Carbs and protein have 4 calories per gram and fat has 9, alcohol has 7.

I had WLS 1/77 so after years of maintaining I have found that the only thing that really works is sticking to the high protein low carb diet that I ate soon after surgery. I've maintained a loss from 356 to 140.
-
I'm sure you've been told to eat your protein first. Instead of drinking water, I'd concentrate on bariatric protein shakes since they are formulated for WLS patients. I'd ask for a consult with a nutritionist to work out an appropriate food plan. I realize that being only 2 months out from WLS you aren't going to be…

I looked at your food diary and you aren't eating enough vegetables - 12-15 net carbs from the induction list each day as a minimum. I think you could eat just a little less fat and more protein, too.
-
I have one and love it. I have the BodyMedia Core. I exercise more because I like to see the numbers. The calories burned is spot on.

The "flu" is detoxing from carbs. I find it very easy to follow my low carb plan and it is very effective. I have so much more energy and have lost fat and very little lean body mass because of all the protein I eat and the weight training I do. The body has no need of any carbs but you will die if you don't eat enough fat…

Don't expect to lose a pound a week. At your current weight, weight loss will be slow. It's is never a good idea to set a goal to lose x pounds a week or x pounds by a certain date. You need time to learn new ways of eating and habits if you are to maintain the loss. It's far better to set a goal based on learning a new…

You don't eat fruit like that. If you want to do low carb.correctly, check out the Atkins site. They have everything you need to know for free. I only eat low glycemic fruits like berries, or half an apple and that's only 2-3 times a week.
-
Fat cannot turn into muscle! They are different kinds of cells. That's like saying an apple can turn into a banana. You can lose fat and gain muscle but the fat cells do not go away, they are just empty.

Follow the plan as written without deviating and the results and fabulous. Add in cheats and not so much. The reason for a strict 2 weeks of induction is to get rid of the cravings. If you keep eating foods not on induction list, your results may not be what you wanted. After 2 weeks, go to ongoing weight loss (OWL) and…

This stuff does nothing but bring on cravings and impede weight loss. The less you eat of it, the less you crave sweets.
-
You aren't doing low carb eating grains and fruit.

My weight loss is more important to me than eating junk that will leave me with an upset stomach for days. Why do you have to eat at these events? If you only go for the food, that says a lot about you and your determination to reach goal.
-
You are inactive. Setting a goal to lose 2 pounds a week without exercise is not very realistic. You are slowing your weight loss by not eating enough.
-
Is way too soon to be thinking about a goal weight. Concentrate on smaller goals until you are closer no a normal BMI and then think about a goal weight.
-
I do not eat processed foods. They are just chemicals and junk. When you get away from them and even have one bite, they taste terrible. There is nothing better than fresh foods properly seasoned and prepared.
-
All bread is just overprocess grains and junk. White is absolutely the worst because it has been bleached.
-
You have to do what is necessary if you want to lose weight and that means keeping a food diary and weighing and measuring your food. As you enter your food, you'll have a list of frequently eating foods you can just click on to add. Guestimating won't get the weight off.
-
Click on the food item in your diary and you will get the box to change the quantity or meal.
-
If you lose weight without exercising and by exercising I mean doing cardio AND strength training, you will not lose as many inches and you will not be toned. You may be a normal weight, but you can still be fat inside because when you don't do strength training and get adequate protein your body burns lean body mass along…

Household chores and other activities you do daily are not exercise. Exercise raises your heart rate for a sustained period. You can count it but you are only following yourself. Your body doesn't..

deli meats are low in protein compared to the actual meat. They are just too processed. You're better off not eating them, nitrate free or not.

Treats = cravings. The more you eat the foods you crave, the more you will crave them. Tough it out and you'll not want them again.
