So excited to see this! I picked up some of these noodles recently, and have been contemplating how to prepare them. They were in the cooled produce section of my local Meijer store. I think I'm gonna try them tomorrow! I LOVE noodles! Yay!

I agree with an earlier poster that the reason you're getting "blisters" is from the sweating. Had a light burn a few weeks ago on my shoulders. Not painful, and I aloe'd. Worked in the yard and got really sweaty, and the burn area (which had started to peel slightly) got all bubbly. It was from the sweat building up under…

Those B vitamins are important! We have discovered a little energy drink called 5 hour energy. It's main component is a load of B vitamins. Wouldn't recommend that on a daily basis, but good for if you need a kick start to be able to work out, etc. Also - did your doc test your thyroid levels? Low thyroid (hypothyroid)…

Yummy- thanks!

Amen to that! Our Save A Lot closed recently (so sad), but love them and Aldi! I can leave Aldi with an overflowing cart (including meat) for $100.00!

Irish, Scottish, Polish, and who knows what else? Cool story - my dad's parents (who were not together at the time) both came to America from Ireland by ship. They were supposed to take the Titanic, but were offered tickets on a different ship a day earlier. They were so anxious to come to America, they took them - thank…

Someone else had posted the Zesty Lime Avocado and Shrimp Salad recently - I have made it twice now and it is WONDERFUL! I took it for a family picnic, and it was loved by all. I tweaked the ingredients a little, played with the amount of lime juice, onion and cilantro. I also used cherry tomatoes and quartered them, and…

I totally agree with this! I've been on MFP 45 days, and I am starting to be able to judge portion sizes. I too feel like it's NOT a diet since logging causes me to think about if I want to "spend" my calories on something before I eat it. I don't feel denied of anything, just thinking before I eat. I think if I weren't…

I talk to myself out loud all the time. So, I wonder how many times when I'm riding my bike alone, people outside hear me and thing I'm nuts. Sometimes the talk is about food - like when I'm looking in the cabinets seeing what there is. I find myself talking to myself about whether or not I'm really hungry, and if so, what…

Although I love breakfast foods, the time to prepare is often an issue for me. I have discovered a couple of good alternatives - 1) Fiber One bars - only 140 calories, and tons of fiber - which is good for you and fills you up. There are several good flavors - my favorite is oats and chocolate - feels like I'm getting a…

Cool - thanks! I like that the things that are good other than the lbs lost has a name!

Okay, someone help me. Been on almost a month, but can't figure out what nsv is. Help? Thanks!

OMG - I can have chocolate AND peanut butter?!?!?!?!?! For under 200 calories?!?!?!? (passes out on floor) I think I love you!
-
I'll have to try that - I have a hard time getting enough water - I'd much rather drink something flavored!
-
Interesting idea! I think I'll have to try that!

If you can purchase one of the metal "pie" cookers (can be gotten at walmart, etc) you can make pockets of just about anything! Our favorite is pizzas. 2 slices of low cal bread, with a very light spread of low cal marg, nestle the buttered side into the cookers (grilled cheese technique), take about 1/2 tbsp spaghetti…

I'd love to be a support friend! I do not have any major 'events" in my recent history, but can be an emotional eater. I am a Christian, and while my current weight loss journey does not have an actual spiritual component, but I recently found a Kindle book on just that! I hope to start reading and incorporating that this…

Sounds fantastic! I have a question though - I am new (a little over 2 weeks on mfp) - what is nsv?

Meijer has an organic peanut butter that is lower in sugar, fat and calories than the name brands, if you have Meijer stores where you are. We also just bought a sunflower nut butter to try, but haven't tasted it yet.

I was contemplating the same thing the other day - my fave exercise is bike riding, and though it's 90 here now, it won't be for long! Guess I'll bundle up when possible, and other wise use my wii fit or some exercise videos or the treadmill to walk.. Harder to stay motivated though when I don't have the wind in my hair!…
